Sundance Suite, 1 Bedroom with fireplace Dogs OK

The Sundance Suite is the perfect size for 2 people and a dog. Very comfortable. Great location. Very close (within minutes driving and a bit more walking -downhill/uphill) to anything. Brandon was on-site and available, communicative (by email and phone), and very friendly. He made us feel very comfortable and welcome, even though we barely saw him. We were there during the 4th of July, being a very busy time to be there. We were close enough to shopping and the fireworks, and just far enough away from all of the crowds of people. Fireworks started at 9:30. We had planned to watch them from the deck on our patio, but decided at 9:20 to drive down a block to watch them. We surprisingly found a parking spot and found an open spot to sit within minutes of the fireworks starting. We watched them from beginning to end and were back at the Suite by 10:15. Fireworks were amazing. I can't stress enough what a great location the Sundance Suite is if you want to be close to things and be away from large crowds of people.

This is not a "what didn't you like", but they could use a bigger sign to find the place.

Convenient, quiet, cozy, dog friendly.

Coffee maker didn't work - wasn't cleaned ahead of time, once cleaned it worked. Very hot - no AC but a noisy fan that finally cooled down the room halfway through the night. Was very expensive and final bill was $125 higher than advertised due to "fees" and a $25 pet charge, not disclosed in orginal description. Not sure if this is the fault of Booking.com or the owner - this is not the first time I've seen this.

I spent Christmas 2022 in the Sundance suite, and loved it. The overall ambiance and decor was inviting, warm, and clean, with natural wood floors and lovely decorative accents. I loved the crisp cotton sheets, the plush bathroom rugs and towels, the firm and very comfortable bed, ceiling and other fans, plus personal deck for the unit where I could sit and enjoy some coffee, and listen to the mountain air move through the pine trees. The doubles sided fireplace generated more than enough heat, along with some baseboard heaters, and was lovely to observe from both the bed and the Jacuzzi bath. The mini fridge enabled me to bring some half & half for morning coffee, and the Keurig machine and coffee pods provided made a delicious cup o' morning joe. We met some very nice pups and other guests, and enjoyed some fun, safe play time in the play area behind the units.

A couple of things that would make things a bit better for next time: a variety of coffee/tea pods, a small pitcher for water, and a small lamp near the bed.
