Nothing but perfect

We have loved everything about it! Since the very first beginning all the team was very attentive and gave us all the information we needed even before arriving. The place was cute, clean and really comfortable! Such amazing views from the terrace of our cabin! Breakfast was really good! The homestay is perfectly located in the middle of Munduk, perfect to explore North of Bali! Worth highlighting that the whole staff was super kind and always helpful! We had such a wonderful journey!!! Thank you so much for everything! We will be highly recommending Munduk V View House to everyone coming to Munduk! Suksma 🙏

Picture perfect

The photos don’t lie. And the gardens are beautiful. I ended up staying an extra night to make the most of the solitude before moving onto a nearby homestay, after having previously spent 20 days in the busy of central Ubud. If you’re after solitude, you don’t have to interact (with the host family) after check-in unless you order breakfast which they bring to you at your preferred time. Local restaurants and warungs deliver to the door 🥘 Stray friends came looking for scraps; I (at first reluctantly) welcomed them but they will shoo off quickly if you are firm.

There is nothing to not like. If you want total silence with the solitude, just bring earplugs. Dawn brings a chorus of birds & critters, and of course the Bali standard of roosters & occasional scooters from the track or road 😅

Not many places you could stay and wake up to a view like this. You are up in the clouds listening to the soothing sounds of the forest.Munduk is Bali at its best .Check out the nearby waterfalls they are beautiful. Lovely staff,,they couldn't be more helpful.And be sure to visit that nearby restaurant called The Botanist for a night out

The view, the room.and the privacy of it(room no.2), the staff were very friendly, welcoming and warm

No hot water in bathroom sink. Nobody's fault but be prepared for an early morning wake up call bt the roosters(headphones or ear plugs required)

It was a long and hilly walk to and from town, so unless you drive a bike it might be hard to get to. The chairs on the patio could be more comfortable.

Exceptional

Such a beautiful place for a two-day escape! The staff was very nice and helpful. There is a trekking point nearby that leads to three waterfalls. However, a word of WARNING: if you're afraid of insects, this place may not be right for you. It is far away from the lakes, make sure you have a scooter to drive down the road. Also, keep in mind that Munduk can get cold, so remember to pack some warm clothing :)

It was a nice cottage in the middle of no where, you are among nature so obviously you’d have critters around and need to ensure your doors are closed whilst outside in the balcony. there was a young man who works here, he’s very hospitable and will look after you. the place has mesmerizing views. Breakfast menu was okay, either eggs and toast or a local breakfast. the menu for lunch and dinner isn’t extensive and you need to order at least 30 to 45 mins in advance. overall, we had an amazing stay. the place was isolated but that’s what we wanted, good value for money, clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room is new, cosy, made from high quality materials and with soul. View is just breathtaking! We had amazing time at our balcony in any time of the day. Hotel placed aside of the road, there are no other hotels or farms around so it’s really quite. Nature sounds only. Breakfast were tasty and big. Stuff were super friendly, helpful and professional. Just text them by WA and they’ll help you with whatever. Location not fat from Munduk waterfalls and Ekommunity restaurant. And it’s 20 minutes drive to Banyumala Waterfalls and twin lake viewpoint. You’ll need to have transport as bike or car for sure.

the cabin was beautiful, breakfast amazing and the host super nice, but our sheets in the bed were not properly dried and the bed smelled really bad. we got the sheets changed but the bed/pillow still smelled 🙁 we didn’t have a very good sleep

Great place to stay if you want to be in nature

beautiful property surrounded by nature. great place where to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. comfortable bed, good shower, strong internet (we worked and had video calls without issues). nice breakfast in the morning. location is quite remote, but this is its beauty. you can rent a scooter if you want which makes it easier moving around.

Stunning view and amazing place

Hidden gem in the middle of the mountain with the most stunning view you will find. The room was very confortable and the view makes it even better. Great breakfast and easy and affordable food available for orders for lunch/diner, delivered directly to your room. The host, Resit, is very kind and always ready to help, make recommendations, and even be your guide! He took me on an amazing 4 hours trek around the jungle and the waterfalls! No wonders the two houses are always full, this place is amazing. I will be back!

Lovey tranquil place with a beautiful view to escape the hussel of busy life

Super location in the middle of nowhere yet close to munduk area and local attractions. Use this as a base and drive around the scooters which will be provided for you upon request. The view is second to none. Excellent service by mister Redit.

It is the jungle, so beware of some creepy crawlers, nothing shocking though! Would be nice if there was a restaurant close by or at the hotel

Cozy and nice accomodation.

- amazing view from our room, completely blending with nature but also very comfy. - very helpful and attentive staff, always ensure we stay comfortably in our room. Redit is an awesome staff. - breakfast was good and delivered to out room.

- We stayed in room 2 and TV didn't work. - Water for flushing takes so much time to reload. - Different type of insects coming to room so you need to keep cleaning the bedroom etc. but this is expected since the house is in the jungle. - The house is located in a small alley and a bit difficult for a car to access it.

Sitting on the porch, watching the sunset over de mountains & valley, eating delicious food brought to your doorstep. The owner/ staff were very friendly, truly know what hospitality means (made me breakfast after breakfast time, last minute late check-out, and drove my bike back to the main road for me).
