Location and very authentic feel.
A larger double bed for my wife and I would have been nice but 2 singles were ok for short stay

About a 5-10 minute taxi and a 25 minute walk from the nearest train station. Located very close to Kiyomizu-dera and a convenient starting place for a walking tour of the many temples located along the Eastern side of Kyoto. The accommodation itself was clean and very spacious - we booked it for 2 people but I think it would be perfect more for bigger families. We got the breakfast option which was vegetarian kaiseki style - delivered to the door each morning.
