With waterfront views and a very generous outdoor area, this beautiful home on Palm Jumeirah might draw the eye with its ornamental Arabian architecture and olive-green trimmings, but it’s inside where true opulence comes into play. Detailed ceilings, chandeliers, Persian rugs, striking wallpaper and art, and plush furnishings all add to the feeling of luxury here, but without ever compromising on the comfort levels. You can just as easily kick back with drinks and snacks, as you catch up on series, as host smart dinner parties here. Not that you’d be spending a whole lot of time inside when you could be admiring views of the Arabian Gulf from outside. Make full use of the sunloungers when you’re working on your tan, only slipping into the crystalline infinity pool when you need a break from baking in the sun. Our favourite part of this home happens to be the sun deck which gives you access to the views, but with the addition of some shade – make yourself comfortable here under the awning. The hardest thing about staying in this home, would be convincing everyone to leave for a day trip. If you manage it, drive eight minutes to see The Pointe fountain – it’s the world’s largest dancing fountain – or drive eighteen minutes in the other direction to get to The Dubai Marina instead. Shop, eat, and drink to your heart’s content before heading back home. Golfers might splinter off here to go practice their swing on the nearby course, whilst thrillseekers might stop off at the sky-diving centre.
