The place is a must go for a blissful stay in jaipur.

The serene and peaceful aura of the place was absolutely amazing. The place was well maintained, with all the facilities like common dining area, reusable water bottles, stunning view from the balcony. Place was very clean. Room had all the amenities and everything was beyond par. The host was super helpful and cordial.

A very beautiful and well managed property. Properly manager Krishna is really helpful and shared all relevant details about itinerary. Overall its very safe, beautiful and lively place to stay.

Great value for a short stay.

The bed was super comfortable and we were happy that they provided a heater for the room.

As it was January the entire building felt uncomfortably cold. I also found the staff to be cold and not very welcoming, only acknowledging my husband.

Cosy, Quiet and Comfortable Stay

Before our arrival, Anandmai reached out to check what time we would be arriving and also shared their location with us, which was very helpful. We had a 4-night stay at Anandmai, and Mr. Krishna kindly welcomed us even though it was already late at night. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the basic necessities. Best of all, the property is located in a quiet neighbourhood, yet food, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. Mr. Krishna was very helpful throughout our stay and made sure we had a wonderful experience.

Great place but can work in the water heater/ solar and provide hot water .

Bathroom- no hot water at all. It was Luke warm water available for bathing in cold winter weather. Even after running the tap for 15 minutes same story. Told staff but no use . Stayed for two days. Bathroom switches were very dirty.. Net - poor network in one room. We booked 2 rooms. Got net in one and poor network in another. If .

Best budget friendly sustainable homestay

I feel its the way everything is made here. Just wonderful. Also the host, Mr Krishna is very nice. First of all thanks to him for waiting as we reached Jaipur very late but he still was happy welcoming us. He also provided us with places to visit so very good hospitality. Plus pay at the property really helps as customers dont have to be worried of scams

I don't have much nitpicking to do here. Apart from the plug points, they weren't great and would lose connectivity at times

Very nice place, peaceful and in a nicer area. There are places to eat but not typical food or street food. For me it was fine, I didn’t need to be on the center.

It’s not in the main area, which for some people is maybe not ideal.

Nice Location& pleasant homestay, But Security and Staff Behavior Need Improvement

Location is good, house keeping excellent

The staff were not very friendly, need improvement, and the main entrance remained open throughout the night without any security personnel, which was concerning. On a positive note, the location is convenient and the housekeeping service is good. Providing access to the kitchen would greatly enhance the overall experience, especially for families traveling with children.

The property was exactly like what’s shown in the pictures. It was clean, airy, and welcoming. The greenery was so refreshing. The staff was polite and checked us in early. Their food partner is really amazing, the food was delicious and ordering and delivery is extremely convenient as you place the order online and it comes directly to your room within 30-40mins at most.

A fabulous oasis in a big city!

This was just the haven of peace and tranquility that I needed in Jaipur! The hotel is decorated in simple but beautiful manner that gives the whole place a sense of calm. The hosts are just so kind and willing to help and really went above and beyond when I was feeling a little out of sorts. The whole place is sparklingly clean and the availability of solar-powered hot running water plus filtered drinking water are both big pluses. The area is really great - close to the C-scheme with its various lovely coffee shops and eateries.

Perfect Stay in Jaipur with Warm Hospitality and Great Location

Anandmai offers an excellent location—clean, well-maintained, and conveniently situated. It’s ideal for solo travelers, couples, and families alike. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with lovely flowers outside and a peaceful terrace to relax. Hosts Maitreyi and caretaker Shivani are exceptionally helpful and welcoming. For a comfortable stay near Jaipur’s main attractions and the railway station, Anandmai is a top choice.

Nothing as such. Everything is great but It would be even better if a homely breakfast and some indoor games could be provided, adding to the warmth and comfort of the experience.

Safe, Calm and Positive Place for your weekend gateway

As an Architect - the built environment of the place is very soothing and positive. And obviously I am fond of watching TV - for the first time somewhere I found Netflix logged in. This is great.

It’s very span and span. Sustainable decor and garden out front are the best features.

The lady owner is a little rude (probably was in a bad mood). We arrived from Delhi after a super long drive and she did not smile, did not stand up or welcome us or did not offer water, I made my senior citizen parents sit. She kept sitting while I stood and made me immediately pay her first and share ID details (very unlike Rajasthani hospitality that we have encountered at other places) However the male owner is very helpful. He shared some great recommendations about local restaurants and touristy places. TV does not word. WiFi is super slow.

Great vibe, very friendly staff and interesting hosts

The location was perfect. Very quiet surroundings. and the home was just beautiful, filled with plants all around. I liked the interior calm setup quite a lot. The staff was always available for us, if you need to order something to eat. The hosts were very kind, interesting people. We loved the chat we had with them, maybe next time! :) overall the atmosphere was very calming.

The room could have had a small working space setup, for travellers working remotely.

Anand ki anubhuti aur Maitri ka shubh sandesh.

Great place to live as the name suggests "AnandMai" Pleasant atmosphere area surrounded by green fossil and ferns. Nice big room neat and clean with all facilities in washroom. No huzz and buzz. Anand and Maitri were always prompt to solve my problems. Will definitely visit again.

If there was a lift I could explore the entire homestay Nothing as such to dislike.

Very good stay and nice people

The place is an old bunglow turned into a homestay kind of setup. Very artistically and sustainably designed . I reached late at night not only did they wait till that time they made sure that I ate hot home cooked meal. Staff there were also very curtious . When ever I have plans for Jaipur I will definitely look for this place.

Amazing stay

We had a great stay at AnandMai—one of the best places we’ve stayed in India so far. The price was good, and the food was great, especially the parathas, though the options were a bit limited. The property itself is lovely, with thoughtful interiors and a beautiful garden space that made it feel like a peaceful retreat in the city. The owners were very friendly and respectful—not at all pushy, and they kindly made us food at short notice. We also met some interesting fellow guests, which added to the experience. The location made it easy to get around Jaipur, with most sights and transport within reach.

The AC setup wasn't ideal—there was only one unit in a long room, which meant half the space stayed quite warm. Adding a second unit would really improve comfort. Also, while the location is practical, the immediate surroundings aren’t the nicest for walking—one side leads to a slum-like area, and the other to a very busy main road. That said, once you’re inside, it’s a whole different vibe—calm and welcoming. Overall, highly recommended stay.

Scammy reception staff

Reception staff was sneaky about change (keeping 90 rupees of the room payment upon check-in) and also tried to re-collect room payment upon checkout (the same payment they'd required the day before in cash). I'm used to such scams on the street, but it's unpleasant to have to be careful at the guesthouse. The stay itself was decent enough, but I wouldn't return because the vibe there is off.
