Quay House

The location was perfect for exploring some great local attractions. A good size property with comfy beds, a lovely garden for the dog to play ball in and parking outside. The eateries in Charlestown we chose, were well worth every penny (The Boat House and the Fish Co on the dockside). Having a beach close as hand was also a bonus, although we unfortunately visited when major construction work on the lock gates were taking place and it meant the dog-friendly beach side was closed off, so our dog had to wait until the restrictions were lifted on the other side, which wasn’t until the last two days of our visit ….. but we certainly made the most of the many dog-friendly beaches, cafes and shops whilst out and about.

Some of the areas, particularly the bathroom and shower room in need of some minor decorative attention/upgrade, which is a shame, as it makes it look a little tired. A few collections of higher level cobwebs downstairs. The TVs were a mystery as we struggled to navigate them for live tv, could have done with easy step instructions, but not worth pestering the owners about….. we were on holiday after all, busy having adventures.
