Le Case dei Fiori is an ensemble of two properties (Fior di Loto and Peonia) situated in the beautiful Positano, the hearth of the Amalfi Coast. Once just a fishing village, this town, now world-wide famous for its houses built on terraces and the vivacious yellow and blue majolicas, recreate a magical atmosphere where this Villas are well done located. A stairway of stone steps (typical of Positano) takes the guest to Le Case dei Fiori, starting from Viale Pasitea, the main street in Positano, and going up through the oldest past of the town; there are 85 steps leading to the entrance of the Villas. The property is far just 15 minutes walking down to the center to reach the main shops, bars and restaurants and ten more minutes to the main beach Spiaggia Grande. The two villas, both designed to have a stunning view over the sea and the whole Positano, remains completely independent and private, in order to guarantee a peaceful privacy and relax to the people inside the houses.Le Case dei Fiori is made to welcome in total 7 people, considering 3 people in Fior di Loto and 4 inside Peonia. Fior di Loto is a two-floor property allocated higher than the other villa to guarantee a more private staying. At the entrance, on the first floor there is a single bedroom next to a bathroom with shower while, up stair, is placed the other bedroom made for two (the bed can be split in two) and another bathroom; at the same floor the guest can find a small but fully equipped kitchen with all the comfort like dishwasher and microwave. Peonia is an ideal property for couples or for a little family. It has its own independent entrance that assure comfort and privacy and also a small private garden, with an old lemon tree. On the inside, it is tastefully designed and furnished: the guest will find a living room with fireplace, a small but fully equipped kitchen, and two nice bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Both the houses make an effortlessly delightful complex that shines for its bright colors that remind the nature, the sea, the sun the Coast!

Our family of 6 stayed at the two apartments for 3 nights. There are million dollar views from the balcony. We had plenty of room, the place was very clean and the hosts were responsive. We enjoyed the outdoor patios--they had plenty of table space. We had access to 2 washing machines and a nice sized drying rack. The only issue we had is with an ant infestation one morning in my son's room. He woke up early morning and his bed and walls were covered in ants. There was ant spray on hand so it must be a common occurrence and nothing the property owners can do much about but treat it. We definitely got our exercise in Positano as we walked everywhere. It is 529 steps from the harbor up to the apartment if you are walking. There is a local bus that stops near the apartment that runs every 1/2 hour but you still need to walk up some steps from the harbor area to get up to the road. There are also taxis. We took a taxi one night and he dropped us off on the road above our apartment which was not our address. It was hard to find our way down as we did not know where we were. The taxis also don't run on meters so they are free to charge what they want. Our taxi ride was 30 euros! If you are staying in Positano higher up on the hill, highly suggest you arrive by private shuttle right to your address as lugging our luggage up 529 steps was not fun.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. We loved this property.

The two apartments were welll done. The bottom apartment has a great terrace overlooking Positano. The listing says shared pool. There is no pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the two villas. Mrs. roseanna was wonderful and helpful. The views are spectacular. The villas were clean and comfy.

This is a beautiful property with much to offer. The outdoor spaces are breathtaking. Large terraces, an outdoor bar, small pool, and plenty of seating. The air conditioning was great for our warm September trip. Rosanna, the local representative for the company was kind and attentive.
There were a couple of things we would have preferred to understand from the listing.
1. This is Positano, and there are a lot of stairs. 80, in fact, from the street to the front door of the units. This was a surprise, and I wish we had known to hire a porter service for our luggage. 11 bags up those stairs for our whole group after a long trip there was an unpleasant surprise.
2. Parking is listed as an amenity, but it is not included. We partly chose the property based on what seemed like included parking, but they really mean is that there is a public lot nearby, which is 50 euro a day. We felt this was unclear in the listing.
3. This is two separate apartments with no connection. We saw that there was a separate entrance in the listing, but we did not realize there was no connection at all.
Overall, this was a great property, but we felt like the listing was somewhat misleading and left out crucial information for first-time visitors. The parking situation should be clarified, and we wish that there had been some communication about the stairs, even if that meant a recommendation to enlist a porter service.
