About this house rental
Casa Lauro, an ancient residence in Positano, can accommodate up to 8 people. Casa Lauro, a few steps from Piazza dei Mulini, the main square of Positano, is divided over 2 levels and is among the few houses in Positano where there are no stairs to access.
The first floor of the residence, the main one, has a triple bedroom and a double bedroom with single beds and private balcony; a characteristic fully equipped built-in kitchen with a splendid panoramic view; a bright and spacious living area with fireplace and breathtaking view of Fornillo; 2 bathrooms (one with tub and one with shower) and a small terrace overlooking Positano equipped with a typical ceramic table for dining outdoors while enjoying the beauty of the area.
Downstairs, we find 2 more bedrooms (one double and one single), a second equipped kitchen with living area and two bathrooms with shower.
The villa is equipped with air conditioning on the first floor, while the lower floor enjoys natural coolness. Casa Lauro also has a TV, free and unlimited WIFI connection and a laundry area.
The needs of our customers are of the utmost importance to us.
Check-in is available from 14.00 to 21.00
Check-out must be done before 10.00
Guests will have to provide the identity document for registration with the State Police.
The tourist tax amounts to € 2.50 per night per person for the first 7 nights, to be paid in cash upon arrival. Minors are exempt.
A deposit of EUR 500 in cash is required upon arrival. €150 will be deducted from the security deposit for cleaning costs. The remaining sum, once the absence of damage in the accommodation has been ascertained, will be returned to the customer.
Upon request, it is possible to leave the car at a partner car park for €35/€50 per day (depending on the size of the car).

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Lauro. It’s perfectly situated for the full Amalfi experience, a short walk to shopping, great restaurants and Positano’s beachfront. The on-line listing does not do justice to the stunning views and the villa has two patios from which to enjoy them. The VRBO listing reflects 3 bathrooms but there actually 4 full baths, one connected to each of the four bathrooms. We had a few issues but they were addressed immediately by our host. Casa Lauro is highly recommended for the ultimate Amalfi Coast experience.
