The kitchen and dining area are clean and tidy, with complete utensils. The bed sheets are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is of high quality and has a pleasant fragrance. It is an extremely cost-effective hostel that completely exceeded my expectations. It is a self-service hotel, where there is the warmth and freedom of home. I really like it and will recommend my friends to come and experience this hostel as well. It's great👍

Nice but quite cold

It was a big spacious room, location is nice right next to the boats.

The cabin doesn’t have much heat, there’s a radiator but you have to turn it on and it’s small so it wakes a while to warm up the room

Nice house in Lofoten :)

The house was beautiful and well equipped, there was free parking right in front of the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, there were board games for everyone to use. Everything was really clean and comfortable and the two shared bathrooms were clean and with a hairdryer. Our room had its own small fridge and heater.

The friend of the owner wasn't nice to us and she didn't make us feel very welcome. On the other hand the owner was really nice

Close parking. Host was responsive after flagging issues with the conditions of the apartment.

The main door couldn’t be locked, the house was cold at check in, and the roof leaked, with water dripping all over the floor suitcase and clothes after a night of rain.

The real Lofoten

So authentic cabins, they are perfect. We loved Ballstad,it's a real Norwegian fisherman's town alive and kicking.

Very cozy and nice cabin with a good view. The staff were helpful also, and everything worked as advertised. The most unique experience by far.

The bathroom in our cabin #11 was a little old and had seen better days.

Old. Dirty, shower easily got flooded, not recommended for senior people as there is big hurdles to access the room.

Genuine rorbu.

Most genuine rorbu of all we stayed in during our week. That also means that it is quite simple and rough. Either you like or you do not. We liked it. Bathroom modern and new.

Details like cooking ware could be better. One saucepan only and several worn out frying pans. Two good saucepans please. Big radiator could only be regulated by pulling the wall plug, not the best. Minor complaints but take it as advice on improvements.

Location very convenient closed to a bus stop and thé ferry to nusfjord. Very nice to expérience a colorful rorbuer with a super nice view on thé fjord and harbour. Super nice to have a canot to get in front to thé supermarket by paddle boat. Owner very available, possible to arrive earlier to leave thé backpack. Caution, thé location IS not exactly thé one on maps or Booking but thé owner Can Come to guide you AT thé bus stop if needed. Very nice atmosphère to get to know other people. Very nice hikes available from thé rorbuer.

Cabins are well maintained (our cabin was painted in pink which looked really cool), bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Stuff is very friendly!

We were only two and the hot water run out very quickly and this is the first time that we had to male beds by ouselves. Further more we thought our cabin will have a sea view but there was another cabin infront of us so the was actually a fence.

The hostel was at a great location to do hikes and experience nature. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean. The host was really kind and funny. He showed us some secret places near the hostel which were beautiful and not on the internet.

The property was very spacious, clean, and felt like an authentic rorbu. It is also just 15 minutes away from Leknes Airport which is convenient for those with late flights into Leknes. The host was also the friendliest host we've encountered in our stay in Norway! Definitely recommend this property for anyone traveling to Lofoten.
