The size of the place and amenities

Getting to the property was a bit dusty and not easily accessible for lower cars

The room was very neat and clean. The shower was hot and the kitchen had the essentials you’d need for an overnight stay.

There was nowhere to put anything while showering and the air con didn’t work to heat up the room as it gets very cold in Bloem.

Comfortable bed. We could get two good nights rest. Wifi was working at all times. Water was hot at all times and flow was good. Spacious cupboards for all our luggage. Overall the place was clean and tidy. Beautiful garden for walks and pictures. Peaceful and quiet - serene. Good gate access. The location of the property was not far from the university where we had to be.

A large container was blocking the windows where the sun is supposed to come in, making the place extremely cold inside. Old wooden cupboards triggered my allergies, it smelled very dusty. The dog follows you everywhere and expects you to give him attention whenever he sees you. We wanted to enjoy the garden and the braai, but therefore could not. It is not that we don't like dogs but he was overwhelming. The road to get to the property needs serious attention. Potholes everywhere. One cannot drive there at night. Lighting was poor (bulb and bed lamps).
