- Really good location in a nice part of the city. Everything is walking distance and there are a lot of nice bars, cafe's and restaurants nearby.
- The room was well decorated and the bathroom was nice and big too.
- 'The White Company' amenities in the bathroom

Whilst the rooms are well decorated, they are not very practical (at least the room we were in):
- The lights need an instruction manual and are not simple to use. The main lights need a dimmer switch as they are too bright. 9 big light bulbs at maximum brightness is excessive to light up the bedroom despite the fact that the light fixture looks nice.
- We requested a double room but got a twin room, which was disappointing. Especially given the fact that we paid €184 per night. Also, the two beds were right next to each other which meant that the TV remote and/or our mobiles kept falling between the 2 beds. Most hotels convert twin beds into doubles depending on the guests preference, whereas this hotel did not.
- The shower pressure was not very strong. The maximum temperature was warm but not hot.
- The toilet roll holder needed repair. The toilet roll kept sliding off as the holder had loosened and was at an angle.
- The air-conditioning was loud and not very effective. Still felt hot despite it being on. Luckily the temperatures were not too high in Santander at the time otherwise it would have been unbearable
- There is a mini fridge in the room but it does not keep drinks very cold.
- The floors are all laminate, so you can hear the people in the room above walking around and it is noisy and annoying
- Our room also had a glass conservatory area, which would have been nice to use more. However, the windows were painted shut and there is no air conditioning in that part of the room. So on a sunny/warm day (it was sunny every day we were there), it was unbearable to be in there due to the heat
