Villa Oasis

Lovely comfortable room with a kettle, hairdryer, fridge, tv and A/C. I also had a small balcony. There were places to hang clothes and towels and a bedside light. These small things make the difference! The hostess was very helpful and friendly even though we didn't speak a common language. Breakfast was very generous and enjoyable and also slightly different the second day. The free parking is very close and safe. It is about 25 minutes to walk to the castle or to the old town but this wasn't a problem for me and both were easy routes. I'd rather walk a little than tackle town centre traffic and parking.

Room and bathroom Bathroom was quite small to accommodate our group.. Owners were very kind but the communication was complicated.

The location is great, not in the city center. You can easily park in the free parking lot in front of the house, although it's not private and depending on the day and time, there may or may not be a space available. I found a spot without any problem because I arrived early, but it's probably more difficult to park at night. Then, it's a 30-minute walk to the city center, which is good because it's easier to stay here if you're traveling by car, rather than in the old town where cars aren't allowed. The girl who helped me was incredibly friendly and kind. Even though I arrived much earlier than the time I had noted when booking, she was at the house waiting for me.

The shower couldn't be mounted on the wall; there was no bracket to hold it. So, the only way to shower was to leave the faucet on the floor or hold it with one hand while trying to shower with the other. But I like having both hands free to shower, especially to wash my hair. That's what those shower brackets are for, so we don't have to use a hand for that... Normally, if these things break, they get fixed, but in this case, they haven't. They're making money renting rooms, and having the shower like this is really, really bad. The place itself is nice, but this detail makes showering uncomfortable and significantly impacts the travel experience.
