The location of the property is excellent, about 1.5 miles out of the city centre and on a regular bus route, though if there are 4 or more an Uber is cheaper. It is also a very easy 30 minute walk if you are feeling energetic. The house is self catering and there are several shops and a supermarket in the vacinity. Parking is also free outside the property which these days is a rarity.
The property is really well maintained and presented, all the rooms were incredibly clean with good bedding and towels provided. The heating system was quick to warm the house and provided plenty of hot water for showers. Check in was easy via a Lockbox and communication with the host was always answered quickly via the app. All in all, an excellent property for up to 10 people, (4 single beds in 2 twin rooms and 3 double beds in 3 double rooms).
Having such a nice property to stay in certainly enhanced our weekend in Newcastle.
There is little to complain about with the property, perhaps the only thing is that check in is quite late at 4pm and early check in is charged at £10 per hour. As we were eager to get going in Newcastle we arrived at 3 and had to pay an additional £10, whilst it is a very small fee, it also felt a little unnecessary for 60 minutes on top of the almost £700 we had already paid for 2 nights.

Spacious, clean and very comfortable we had booked as part of a large event we were running at the Vertu arena nearby and everyone would like to stay again the next event. We are all away from home so much a home away from home is perfect! Thank you!

Carpets are threadbare. Furniture is stained. Walls are dirty and paint chipped. Pans in kitchen were dirty. Cleaning products including bleach had been left at top of stairs. No curtains in bedrooms just light blinds so sleep poor. Back yard full of rubbish and back gate blew open and shut. Walls to neighbours paper thin. Shower very poor. I would not recommend.

Plenty of inside space with lots of bedrooms. Fantastic shower
The distance from the city centre, the oven was filthy, bad smell oven trays and frying pans were covered in old oil and food. We had to clean and scrub everything before use except oven was unusable. Mugs in kitchen were dirty. The living room sofas and rugs were badly stained. Check in time 4pm arrived at 5.30pm and cleaners still cleaning and didn't leave till 6. A £200 deposit was demanded before check in even though was already paid in full. Location was advertised as close to the centre but was a 40minute walk with luggage.

Spacious property in a great location. Close to shops and dining options and easy access to Newcastle city centre, Gateshead, etc. Easy parking and check-in. Beds were comfy and shower was fantastic.

The accommodation had plenty of rooms to accommodate the guests. Clean & tidy. Towels provided with tea & coffee
The location was very poor. Lots of rubbish outside the house & very run down. Also we had a building site behind us & woke us up really early. There wasn't any curtains up either to keep the sunlight out in the bedrooms.

The house size was perfect for our group and though the location is a little far to walk into the city centre, it was easy to get an Uber in no time at all. The house was close to some shops to get supplies for our stay and was perfectly clean and had almost everything we needed. The showers were good, the heating worked and the beds were comfortable.
It’s not the nicest part of the city but we did not feel unsafe at all and in general it was very quiet most of the time. A very minor thing but some tea towels would have been great for drying the crockery we used.
