It was clean and comfy with friendly attentive staff and good food. It’s not the Ritz and some of the facilities are pretty ‘tired’; that said, it does what it says on the tin and, for the money we thought it was great. Certainly, no complaints about the room, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had anywhere, served by staff who took their job seriously.
There’s no dedicated parking and we needed to use the nearby council car park

Central to the area for sightseeing.
Food excellent
Staff very obliging
Even though no parking on premises, the local car park was free 6pm to 8am and using the app made it easy to pay a small amount conveniently.
Bedroom clean and tidy.
Shower temperature needed attention.

Large room with a chaise longue!
Avoid Room 5! On arrival water was running down the doorframe to the bathroom! Quickly rectified by lovely staff but that’s not the point! Kept awake until 1am by the disco - no soundproofing, green light on ceiling stayed on all night, uncomfortable bed where you could feel the springs! Struggling to get out of slippery bath. Put the tiny bath mat down which slipped!
