This charming and classic Russian River retreat blends 1920s architecture with thoughtful updates, offering ample room for everyone to gather, relax, and reconnect. Nestled among towering redwoods in the cozy community of Rio Nido—just minutes from downtown Guerneville—this welcoming hideaway is the perfect home base for exploring Sonoma County or simply soaking up nature and nostalgia.
The Space
This large home was made for memory-making. A generous wraparound deck offers plenty of outdoor space to lounge under the trees or dine al fresco at the large table (seats 8) lit by glowing string lights. Fire up the gas grill and enjoy the quiet privacy of the backyard. Inside, the heart of the home is a spacious kitchen with an oversized dining table, an electric stove, a new 18” Bosch dishwasher, refrigerator, and all the cookware you need to prepare group meals.
The oversized living room is warm and welcoming, with comfy seating for the whole gang, a cable TV, and WiFi. A dedicated table in the living area is perfect for puzzles, board games, or catching up on emails. The cozy wood stove with a glass front adds a nostalgic glow on chilly nights.

Rachel was a delight to work with, she replied to all our questions right away, even provided a baby pack and play! Fantastic communication. Check in and out was easy, direction are great and the location was absolutely perfect for our needs. The property was clean and the shoes off rule (we always take our shoes off in our house) keeps it nice and easy to maintain that way. Towels even included beach towels, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms very spacious. We will stay there again if we have a bigger family gathering. We didn't cook or use the bbq but made coffee and sat outside for some quiet time. All 5 stars!!

Fun stay for 3 families with teens, although 9 was about the limit. Great base for exploring Armstrong Redwoods and the town of Guerneville among other options, everything very close. The back deck had a really nice grill, picnic table, and ambience in the redwoods. The front deck featured a little rowdy cornhole competition (not too rowdy nor skilled to be clear).
