About this cottage rental

Hilltop 3 bedroom/2bath home in the heart of Hocking Hills. The cottage has great views and amenities including 6 person hot tub and a fire-pit for cool nights. WiFi internet and internet TV in the bedrooms and living room. Quiet but close to everything. It's only 2 miles from SR33 and Cantwell Cliffs. There is a shared driveway but the cottage offers ample privacy and excellent views of the surrounding hills. The cottage offers central heating and cooling, dishwasher, and gas grill (propane not furnished.)

Great out of the way space in Hocking Hills. Quiet was a bonus for us. Very clean and has what you need for family get away. Hot tub was an excellent bonus, as was collection of folk art in the house. Not recommended for families with toddlers because of open staircase ladder but perfect for us with older teens.

This cabin is very sweet and very clean. Everything you need is right where you need it. I could see us vacationing here again with more good friends or family. It comfortably sleeps 6 people. Not necessarily for children under 4. If handicap accessibility is important to someone in your group, it may be a challenge. Thank you to the owner for a pleasant stay!We were very appreciative when the owner was accommodating to us at check-in during bad weather

My sister and I brought our young adult sons to Hocking Hills for some hiking. We all thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer! Plenty of space, well-stocked kitchen, wraparound porch with hot tub was a great spot to sip coffee in the morning and watch the wildlife and/or sip wine at night and watch the sunset! Quiet, private, beautiful! Great location for seeking out the Hocking Hills hiking trails during the day. Loved it!

Cottage is very cozy. Nice location - close to Hocking Hills and good places to eat. Dogs are allowed so that is a big plus. Kitchen is very well stocked with all the pots and pans and other kitchen gadgets you need.

this cottage had all of the amenities you would need. Fully functional kitchen with any kind of pan, appliance, or coffee maker needed. Bedrooms are spacious and so comfortable. Bathrooms are roomy and lovely. The decks that surround the place have lovely views. The hot tub was a bonus! Enjoyed the firepit one evening and cornhole playing another. Easy access to all that Hocking Hill hikes and sights has to offer. Favorite times were sitting on the deck having a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and watching the sunset or listening to the birds sing.

The cottage looked even better in person than online. Beautiful furniture and a very impressively stocked kitchen. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the fire pit on a starry night.

We stayed for 3 nights at Open Sky Cabin. It was a perfect little spot close to everything you could want or need. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub and peaceful evenings after hiking the hills. The cabin has its own unique character and met all of our family’s needs. We did not bring our dog, but is dog friendly.

We spent a few days at Hocking Hills for a quick family getaway. The house was cute and had plenty of room for our 4 teen kids. We really enjoyed the hot tub, especially after a day of hiking. The house had everything we needed to cook dinner. Hosts were responsive and available if we needed anything.

We were impressed with the wide variety of kitchen supplies and utensils,there was plenty of room for the 5 of us and the house was located conveniently between town and the state parks. However, the home was not quite as private as we had hoped and although it was a pet friendly rental the cleaning job could have been a bit more thorough.

This is a nice little cabin far enough away to not be bothered by the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas but close enough to be a tourist. The place was superbly cleaned, the owner was easy to communicate with, and the overall experience was a great long weekend. My wife is already asking me to check for more available dates to return to this cabin.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, so I had to do more cooking than I normally would in a rental. Oven cooked well and the cookware was adequate (I did bring my own knives). Beds/mattresses were very comfortable. Only complaint would be the TV-it was very cumbersome to access live TV. We ended up streaming from our own laptop,. Location was convenient, close to 33.

1st experience with Vrbo! This house was perfect for us and our 2 adult kid couples! 6 of us and the dog enjoyed everything! The house, grounds and hot tub were spotless and comfortable. The only thing I would say is somehow mark the fireplace brick base with white paint or caution tape! Tripped on it first time through while looking at everything! We put the trash can on it and that solved the problem! lol! Highly recommend this charming clean vrbo.

We had a fantastic private stay with family. It is a great location, close to Logan but nestled within the hills of Hocking Hills. We were able to have easy access to the local attractions and enjoyed the winery just down the street. There was immediate assistance if we had any concerns. The hot tub water which was clear upon arrival was turning cloudy several days in. We were given immediate assistance and the issue was resolved immediately. What a great place to stay to enjoy Hocking Hills.

The cottage was exactly as advertised! We had a great time at the cottage, my kids were so excited about it. They loved the spiral staircase and the hot tub. It was nice having camp fires each night and it was really neat how the deer walked around close to the property. Thank you for providing all the necessary items to cook meals, that made our stay easier! It’s about a 25 minute drive to Ash Cave.
