We enjoyed our stay very much! The view was amazing…. we especially loved sitting on the porch by day and in the hot tub by night! The beds were SUPER comfortable, which is always important. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the towels smelled so fresh. The seasonal decorations were such a nice touch! I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because the kitchen lighting is too dim, and your shadow falls over anything you’re trying to do. The shower pressure is weak, and the water is only lukewarm and smells a bit metallic. Many items could benefit from being replaced with a sturdier substitute. Regardless of the little kinks, I would definitely recommend the cabin! We enjoyed very much!

Very clean cabin. Always #1 thing for me. Loved the pond. Caught a few fish and one very large snapping turtle. Saw a lot of deer. Hot tub was wonderful. Only negative, the living room furniture was not comfortable. Bring some extra cushioning.

WE LOVED THIS CABIN! This cabin felt so homey from the second we arrived! It’s equipped with everything you would need and the view from the porch is incredible. Caught fish everyday and loved the scenery and wildlife. Cabin was clean, gorgeous, and every room has a ceiling fan!! There is also a sick hot tub. Get this cabin because it’s not like the other cookie cutter one’s in a development, this is a secluded home that I had a hard time leaving because it’s so nice, scenic, and quiet. Driving to all the sites was a breeze. Loved this place and would love to return again.

Perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. It's still summer, so we didn't use the fireplace but the hot tub was perfect for relaxing every night. The pond has a nice water feature which we loved falling asleep to every night. Perfect spot! Also not too far from all the tourist stuff but secluded enough that you could relax and enjoy without neighbors.

Beautiful property! Area is just gorgeous. We even caught some fish in the fishing pond with the poles provided. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin was very nice. The couches and chairs need pillows to be comfortable though. There is no washer and dryer which is inconvenient since it’s hard to dry towels after using the hot tub.

We loved our visit here! We had 4 adults and 1 child and it was the perfect size! The only complaints were that the furniture could have been a little more comfortable, but overall it was a wonderful stay. The hot tub and fire pit were very nice and the fishing pond really made for a wonderful stay for our family!

The cabin had almost everything we needed. We brought our own outdoor table top propane grill. The grill provided there is charcoal and we weren't sure if we'd have time for that after hiking all day.There was plenty of hot water for all 5 of us to shower. The beds had foam toppers that slept ok. My son enjoyed the pond in his spare time. The internet speeds were great at the house and it was a perfect central location for hiking in either direction. Would definitely stay here again if we decided to come back to the area. We got all the hiking done we hoped for in our 4 day stay.

This cabin and grounds are absolutely beautiful! The cabin layout, furnishings, and overall cleanliness are superb! It's tucked away down a longer driveway giving it such seclusion and peacefulness. We loved sitting on the porch watching all the different kinds of birds fly in and out of the feeder! My husband loved fishing in the pond! The four of us really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night after long days of hiking! Cherie, the owner, was always great to promptly respond to any questions we had throughout our stay! This was the perfect place to stay for our friends trip! We will definitely be coming back in the future!!! Thanks again for a wonderful time!

Amazing property! Loved the fishing pond. There was a lightening strike very close by and we were without electricity for about 4 hours but the host was super nice and responsive. I will definitely stay again. Hocking hills is a great place to visit with lots of hiking and wildlife but I didn't want to leave this great cabin.

Despite the highs in the 90’s and humidity as high as 96%, we had a great time. The covered porch next to the pond, the fountain, and the fact that we spent hours watching the birds on the feeder helped all of us relax and escape from our hectic lives at home. We also liked the proximity to the parks, Lancaster museums, and Logan’s visitor’s center. We were able to cook and share all of our meals onsite which we really enjoyed, too. We took our own gas grill instead of using the charcoal one and a card table and chairs for more space for family game nights. We also took our own wood for the firepit.

Beautiful location. Serene atmosphere. Best hot tub we have had in any of our Vrbo stays. Cabin is small if you have 4 people but the outside picnic table allows space to spread out. If you’re just staying for a few days to hike Hocking Hills. Perfect place. Staying a week or more would be a lot given the cramped living room and kitchen area. Overall tho we love this place. My daughter caught a decent bass in the pond and she was so excited. The bird feeders bring in all types of birds. Very peaceful secluded area. 10/10 recommend for 1-4 days. 5/10 recommend for stays 5days with a family. Perfect for couples or single child families tho. We will definitely come back if we ever decide to hike hocking hills again. We are a family of 4 and brought my mom with us. Was a lot for 5 people but we made it work. Overall the pond and the hot tub made this stay special. While I’m not a huge fan of birds it was really cool to see all the different kinds and the kids loved watching them. The hosts are very responsive and helpful with any issues you might have.

The cabin at hickory creek was everything you would expect a cabin to be. Secluded, woodsy, quaint and serene. The property was beautiful with the pond and the bird feeders by the front porch were a great addition. A hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of hiking. The cabin had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and it was nicely decorated. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to any inquiries. The location of the cabin was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Will definitely return in the future. Thanks for providing us a great stay in hocking hills

Beautiful place. Amazingly calm setting with the fishing pond steps away. The outside is breathtaking. Cute and cozy inside. The pans in the kitchen were either greasy or very worn and beat up. The ice cube trays in the freezer were filthy dirty. Emptied and cleaned them to make new ice. The couches in the family room are very uncomfortable. The disposal in the kitchen didn’t work. It was super dark in the cabin. Need more lights. Felt like a cave. Would stay again despite the few issues and highly recommend.
