The location is perfect for exploring the Calanques and the surrounding area. The accommodation felt like home from the moment we arrived, and Valerie is such a kind and welcoming host. We are already looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful quiet place just about 1 mile from the centre. Great place and really comfortable.

Great stay in Cassis, host is amazing, it was truly pleasure to meet her. We felt there like in home, atmosphere was very amiable and thanks to sharing one table with other guests for the breakfast we could meet them, have nice conversations and share travel experiences with each other. Evenings at the pool with view at the nature are very calming.

Nothing comes to my mind, I want to come back!

The owner of this property is absolutely delightful. She is warm, friendly and very helpful. She gives great recommendations for restaurants and will make the reservations for you. Has good knowledge of the area and can give good advise about where to hike and what are the important areas to visit and sight see. She really was a great hostess. Thank you

Such a stylish and welcoming place to stay with a wonderful host and staff! The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The garden and pool area was lovely and had great views onto the mountainous countryside. Breakfast was delicious and extensive and served in a communal way so that we were able to meet fellow guests and share our experiences and tips with each other. Valerie was so helpful and when we asked for recommendations for dining in the town she even offered to make reservations for us. Two days spent here was simply not enough time and we can’t wait to return again for a longer stay!

Personal opinion but we prefer our bed not being made up each day by staff, just personal preference though. Also the shower head wasn't in the best position, but very very minor things. Overall fantastic.

A beautiful setting with all the amenities and extraordinary, accommodating staff. We did not use the pool in April, but it looked to be idyllic in the summer. For ardent walkers, it is splendid, just a 2-km walk to the trailhead for the three calanques of Cassis — incredible!

Still, the location is a bit out of town, which made for some steep 1.5-km walks to and from restaurants and the waterfront.

This is a lovely place to stay, everything is done to a really high standard and the room has everything you could want, including a fridge and little sink area, huge comfy bed and well equipped bathroom. It feels luxury. The staff are also great and cooked us a wonderful breakfast of whatever we wanted in the morning! The location is also great, close to town but out of the very busy part of Cassis.

Valerie is an absolute gem and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! The location is beautiful and within walking distance to both Les Calanques and the town center which was great!

This place was amazing!! We enjoyed out stay at Aquarius and would go back in a heartbeat! Room, pool, and staff were great :)

Everything was amazing, steep walk into town and back up if you have trouble walking but we didn't mind!!

Aquarius was a highlight of our visit to the South of France: The accommodation was exceptional. We had a mountain view room, with an extremely comfortable large bed. The room and bathroom were a home from home. We met the other guests at the breakfast table, which was shared by the owner and staff. Here ideas for the day were suggested and experiences shared. It was really useful. The owner and staff's primary concern was that we enjoyed our stay. Valerie could not do enough for us and met in full our every need. Apart from that, she created a warm atmosphere, and for those few days, her home was ours. Yes, the breakfasts were excellent and a wide variety of food was on offer, lovingly delivered by her excellent helpers Jacob and Jesus. Aquarius offered a huge advantage being on the Marseille bus route, which we took advantage of, and on the quiet edge of town, well positioned for walking. Oh, and Cassis is a beautiful town that is probably like the old St Tropez of the 1960s. Plenty of very good restaurants who value your custom. And do visit next door La Criotat, if you love fresh fish and seafood

We liked everything about Aquarius. Perhaps I could recommend taking a small folding umbrella (for a handbag?) as the Provence weather can be unpredictable..as we found out. And yes, there is an option, to walk to and from town. This wouldn't challenge most people.

Fabulous place to stay. Lovely rooms with plenty of nice touches and well thought out. A beautiful relaxing property with stunning views. A short walk into town. Great breakfast and the best hosts ever. Loved the walnut bread. So well looked after, thank you.

Beautiful venue, very clean and very nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast with lots of homemade products. We did not have a car and the bus from/to Marseille and Aubagne stops right next to the house so very convenient.

Not really something we did not like as it did not bother us but the house is quite uphill (although only 15min walk from the town center) so something to keep in mind if you can’t walk easily and don’t have a car.

We chose Aquarius in Cassis as it was in the edge of the town and had parking. It was perfect for our 2 night stay to explore the stunning Calanques. The hosts are super friendly, and join for breakfast to chat and answer any questions you may have and give tips on restaurants, hiking routes etc. The room was really comfortable, and exactly as per the photos. We would highly recommend.

the setting is dramatic, each room has a private entrance, and is beautifully furnished and comfortable. Breakfast is family style and with a diversity of delicious offerings. hosts were extremely helpful.

it’s far enough from Cassis and the Calanques, you need a car.

Room is very spacious, comfortable and cozy; location is perfect - very calm neighborhood, 10min walk from downtown and 3min from a very nice supermarket. Very nice breakfast with a view to the Calanques National Park. Bus stop right across the street to shuttles from/to the train station. Hosts are incredibly kind, helpful and great company.

Completely in love with this property. It was a last minute booking and I wish we stayed longer. The room is so beautiful and completely updated, all new everything, super comfy bed, etc. The family is so nice and welcoming offering us wine when we arrived after a long day and showed us the kitties. We felt like we have known them forever. The area is amazing and we just loved everything about this place. I will be back asap!

Valerie is such a welcoming, open minded and friendly host who really loves to connect with her guests (if they want to). It's easy to connect as Valerie either speaks your language or will learn it on a second. She made our stay in Cassis a perfect experience and we hope to see her again soon. We loved to meet her family and share dinner together. The house has great vibes, amazing looks, two pools, lovely cats (and a granddog) and you get superb breakfast. Rooms are spotlessly clean, very comfy and modern. It's a lovely 10 min walk down the hill to the city center. I could not think of a better place to stay and can highly recommend Aquarius.
