Very nice

There seemed to be no way to turn off the bathroom light. Made sleeping more difficult.

The value of the room and price are good.

The other rooms and upstairs room are noisy at late night. The water from upstairs room fall down very loughly at night time .

I liked that the TV in the room had a selection of arcade games and the size of the room was good.

The room was quite disappointing. The style of decoration was bare concrete, so it felt unfinished. The lights were harsh, so it felt like sleeping in a construction site. The bed was a little hard and the sheets had holes in them, it didn't feel very fresh or clean. Mosquitos came into the room all night. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room down but it was right over the bed, so it was very cold to sleep under and I gave up on it in the end. My room was on the top floor and the stairs going up and down were quite steep, short, had no hand rails, and so felt quite unsafe. The television was good but it was very hard to control, the netflix was set in Thai which made it hard to navigate. The staff weren't very helpful. I had to pay a surcharge to use my card to pay, which I had to go to another hotel to do. My room was on the top floor and the staff didn't offer to help me with my bag or go ahead to show the way. They followed me up the stairs and seemed to be amused by my struggles. And there was an unexpected deposit that I had to pay in cash. I felt like they were hoping I wouldn't want the deposit back when I checked out. They weren't very communicative outside dealing with money, no welcome or goodbye. The staff member who let me in seemed ok but the woman in charge and took payment I felt was quite brusque, even rude. I suppose for the price you shouldn't expect too much but I think a hello or goodbye is pretty basic. The location was also very noisy, traffic all night and there seemed to be no insulation for this. I generally felt I made a mistake booking this place. I wouldn't go back.
