About this apartment rental
The Gulf of Mexico beach is steps away from this beautiful ocean view condo at the Gulf Shores Plantation. Sitting on the 16ft wide balcony, you can see the Gulf of Mexico as well as the beautifully maintained courtyard and the pool just below you to the right and just beyond it, the hot tub. The ocean's horizon to the left. The nearby boardwalk means this unit is one of the closest to the beach in this gated community. The private beach is wide with white sugar sand and early morning can find you have the whole beach to yourself. There are other pools on the premises as well as tennis courts, golf, on and on.

This place was great! It was very clean and bright and it's just a short walk to the beach. We are already making plans to go back again next year.

My family of four with my husband and two teen boys had a great week in Fort Morgan. We have stayed at this complex before, but loved the location of this specific condo.Pros:-Location of condo is wonderful. Loved being so close to the beach entrance and the pool.-Very clean and wonderful AC.-Loved the balcony. We spent so much time sitting out there watching the water and people watching.-Loved the condo layout. My boys were in a room far enough from us that they stayed up late, and we didn't hear them. The kitchen is small but totally big enough for us to make breakfast and simple lunches.-Really appreciated the beach chairs we could use.-Communication with Marty was excellent. He was quick to respond to my questions before we went.-We took advantage of the tennis, pickleball and vball courts. So much to do!Cons-The master bed was not the best. It dips in the middle.-The complex is about 20 minutes away from restaurants. We actually like not being in a super tourist area and pick this condo for that reason.-Only about 2 showers could happen before the hot water ran out. We figured out just to wait 30 minutes for the next shower.-Unfortunately 3rd floor neighbors were a bit loud. Nothing that could be helped, and I'm sure we were loud to the 1st floor neighbors. We used box fans at night, so we really couldn't hear anything after going to bed.

This unit has the best view at the resort! It is also one of the shortest walks to the beach. Our host Marty was quick with any questions. I would definitely come back.

Pro’s the property is nice the beach was super close, beautiful view, pools are right by the condo.
Con’s the towels were like sand paper, the TP also like sand paper bring your own!!You have to bring your own beach towels which we drove so that wasn’t an issue but could be if flying. The beds were hard as rocks and the pillows were flat as paper. The master bath was the smaller one of the two and had black mold or dirt in the corners by the shower. There was no room to store food in cabinets since the kitchen was so small and cabinets were full of dishes etc. above the fridge was never cleaned (we had to store food here since there was no room in cabinets), and the fans have not been cleaned. The second bedroom did not get good air flow it was very warm so my kids slept in the living room which I could not find sheets for the bed. The living room tv was a smart tv but the bedrooms were not and the bedroom TVs were tiny you really couldn’t see them from the beds.
Just being picky at this point but the utensils, dishes, etc were all older nothing matched but all usable and did the trick.
We have stayed in many places where games and sand toys were provided they are not here (which I knew bc I asked) more of an FYI.
Marty was great to deal with which makes writing this harder. There was a number on the fridge which I called because we had an issue with wifi I am not sure who I spoke with but she had no idea how to help.
