John is an extremely hospitable, welcoming, and accommodating host. The property was perfectly located a short walk away from the main town centre of Devonport. Check-in, accommodation, check-out, facilities etc. were all exceptional.

Excellent host who was helpful and very knowledgeable with tourist information on places to visit. The home had a cosy feel and the beds were comfortable.
Would have preferred better block out curtains and a separate toilet from the bathroom. But not a deal breaker as it's great value for money.

Room was tidy with space for luggage and a hanging robe, thick sheets and a large towel. If you drive, was central enough to many places (though not really walkable). Host was friendly. Large backyard.
Check-in wasn’t super flexible and a key lockbox would be great. The twin room is right off the kitchen so is VERY loud and you can even hear whenever another person uses the bin. Bring earplugs and an eye mask, even if you aren’t a light sleeper.
