Granny's house

We were met by Lefteris the owner at Granny's House. He was a very nice man who went through everything with us. The house was spotlessly clean and in a quiet location overlooking the sea and the mountains. Thank you Lefteris. We will see you again.

Stand alone small house, renowated on good location. Close to lake 15- 20 min walk, and 2km from nearest beach. 20km to Retimno, 40km Chania. Good position to explore island, for that you need a car and for us was no problem ( balos, preveli, triopetra, frangokastelo, kedrodasos, knosos,arkadi, kourtaliotis gorge, elafonisi...). Has all basic appliances. Big terace, and yard surrounded by olive groove. Communication was easygoing and owner waited for us at agreed time.

Fantastic location, very nice host, the home is clean and have everything required to stay. Easy access from the main road! Views are stunning!

A very nice detached house with everything you need for a relaxed self-catering holiday! A warm and friendly welcome (thanks again to my host for all the welcome gifts, especially the excellent home-made olive oil!) was the start for a perfect holiday. Very clean, spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a very large roofed terrace - what more can you expect? The location is perfect. Rural surroundings, but only two minutes from the new national road. An ideal spot for exploring the western half of the island.
