Villa Marianna

We loved our stay at Villa Marianna. George and his family were so welcoming and happy to answer any queries we had. The villa is spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool and garden were large and private, perfect to relax in and the villa was a 10 minute walk to the village where there is a bakery, patisserie and a number of cafes and restaurants.

Swimming pool and grounds amazing, great to have the air con, very much appreciated. Local shops had everything we needed and host helped us and gave some good hints on local beaches.

Beds hard and pillows weren’t to our liking. Would suggest placing the welcome pack on the kitchen counter and not under the maps on the base of the coat stand as we didn’t find it until the second to last day.

The Villa was really spacious and clean. The pool and outdoor area was fabulous. George the host was amazing, really friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much, we even got a home cooked Greek meal.

Everything was perfect. The hosts were so lovely, great communication throughout, gave us several homemade Cretan treats throughout our stay etc. The Villa is stunning, beautiful gardens and views, large pool, plenty of different outdoor seating areas and the outdoor cooking area is amazing! Great location, very private but only a short walk to the village of Vryses, where there are tavernas, supermarkets, bakery’s etc. Also lots to see and do only a short drive away, Lake Kournas, Chania Old town, some beautiful traditional tavernas in the hills etc etc wish we could have stayed longer to see more! We would definitely recommend to anyone.
