About this house rental
Taken to the studs in 2021, Her Majesty boasts a spacious open concept that has been tastefully updated.
Nestled in Morningside, one of Detroit`s hottest up-and-coming neighborhoods, you`re just a short walk to the E. Warren Corridor where you`ll currently find the $8.2MM streetscape project in full action while bars, restaurants, and coffee shops remain open.
Ready to explore? You`re just 2 min to Mack Ave, 5 min to Grosse Pointe, 7 min to the Ascension Hospital, & 15 min to downtown Detroit.
Main Level
Spread out in our open concept living room, dining area, and fully stocked kitchen. You will also find a full bathroom and bedroom toward the rear of the house. Off-street Parking is behind the house with keyless entry that enters the the laundry/mudroom on the main level.
Second Level
There are four bedrooms upstairs and two more full bathrooms. One of these bedrooms is on the smaller side but comfortably fits a twin extra-long bed and small closet. The primary suite is large with a king bed, a dedicated workspace, a walk-in closet, and its own primary bathroom with two vanities and a walk-in shower.
The last two bedrooms on the second level are toward the back of the house and contain a queen and king bed, respectively. The other bathroom on the second level is shared between these two bedrooms and the smaller, twin XL room. It has a tub/shower combo and two vanities.
Her Majesty is a dedicated Airbnb with no shared spaces. The basement is empty and remains locked for owner storage.

This home is located in the Morningside neighborhood of Detroit. This an up-and-coming neighborhood with a community that is extremely friendly, active, and involved in revitalizing the area in which they live. In fact, Morningside home prices rose more than any other neighborhood in 2021 but you will still see vacant homes waiting to be rehabbed. The neighborhood is on the rise, safe, and quiet.
This area of Detroit offers some of the most beautiful architecture the city has to offer with large, expansive brick homes in all styles. Three Mile Park is just one block to your West. It is a small park put together through community efforts with fitness equipment that was installed just a couple years ago.
East Warren, a commercial corridor is just three blocks north where you will find an $8.2MM streetscape project in full swing. Audubon street is right behind this home and arguably boasts the largest, most architecturally stunning houses in the neighborhood but I`d encourage you to continue to E. Outer Drive where even more diverse homes flank the wide thoroughfare. Across E. Outer Drive and you enter into the neighborhood of East English Village.
If you want to explore even more food and drink options, head four blocks south to Mack Ave and into Grosse Point which has it`s own quaint downtown. Morningside is a hidden gem on Detroit`s east side that will make you want to come back and check on its progress.
The two fireplaces are brimming with character and are to be admired, but not used. They are not safe for active fires. Thank you!

The house is amazing. The master bedroom is huge. The owner has invested a lot of time and money in this old house and it shows. Yes the location is not ideal as the neighborhood is a bit shady but it is in the process of a turn around and it shows. We felt very safe all the time. Would stay there again with our 15 and 8 year old.

Property was immaculate. You can tell someone put a lot of time and money into making it absolutely beautiful! Neighborhood was very friendly. We sat on the porch and enjoyed some beers and several neighbors stopped by to introduce themselves. 15 minute uber to downtown! Highly recommend!
