Duplex vacation rental near Valence and the Vercors Mountains

A beautiful duplex vacation rental (2 x 32 m²) converted from the former dovecote of a 19th-century building, ideally located between Crest and Valence, just a stone’s throw from the Vercors and at the gateway to the Drôme Provençale. It also features a lovely 20 m² terrace with views of the plain and the Vercors.
The cottage sleeps 8: 2 bedrooms with double beds (140 x 200 cm) located upstairs and 2 high-quality sofa beds (140 x 200 cm) located on the first floor and upstairs, respectively.
It is normally a family-run guesthouse called “La Grande Maison,” managed by two sisters, Audrey and Séverine, and Séverine’s husband, Jérôme. The cottage is self-contained, but it is possible to rent the entire property exclusively, which sleeps up to 24 people and includes access to the grounds and the pool.
If you rent the cottage on its own, you can still enjoy many nearby swimming spots during the summer, such as the rivers (the Drôme, the Gervanne, the Roanne, the Eyrieux, the Ardèche), and lakes with water play areas (Beaumont-les-Valence: La Truite du Père Eugène; Etoile-sur-Rhône: Etoile Park 26, St
Donat-sur-Herbasse: Lac de Champos, St Barthélémy-de-Vals: Lac des Vernets), or the Epervière pool complex with water attractions in Valence.
