This was a lovely one night stay. The cottage is detached from the house, which I like. The room is quirky but comfortable, with good beds and excellent linen. Electric blankets and a heater made for a very cosy night. We had asked for a meal the night we arrived and it was very good. Our hostess made us very welcome. If you are in Smithfield, I would recommend this for a night or two.

Dee Dee was very welcoming and made a delicious dinner. The room was exactly wha we needed. It’s at the back of town so it’s very quiet

Accomodating and friendly arrived early and were able to leave without hassle. We appreciated the dinner service - would not have liked to go out in the cold in this small town.
Room was very small and somehow crowded. Bathroom is not practical with open shower.
