Avaelie House

Excellent location with a parking space was a great start. We met Natalie on our arrival (by chance) and exchanged messages later in the week & she radiated the friendly efficiency that characterises Avaelie. The approach to the property, right next to the beck was much prettier than we had imagined and beautifully tucked away. The house itself was perfect in that every practical thing had been thought of & everything worked as it should! The bed was comfortable, the towels were soft and plentiful, all the kitchen appliances worked and everything needed was provided, from toiletries to dishwasher tablets not forgetting the wonderful array of goodies waiting for us in the fridge! The attention to detail was stunning- boxes of tissues in most rooms, loads of coat hangers in both bedrooms and lots of mirrors, including 2 full length. These things may not sound exciting but they are simple examples of what made Avaelie house such a joy to stay in - we’ll be back.

Centrally located in Hebden Bridge. Great communication from the host. Very clean and comfortable, with everything you need in a 'home from home'. Very generous welcome supplies in the fridge on arrival. Allocated parking space.

It didn't affect us as a couple, but if you are a group of 4 staying, consider using one car as a single parking space is allocated to the property.

Virtually nothing. It was by the river but not really a view of it.

The location was lovely, right next to the river and a short walk to the town centre. The property has its own parking space. The property was exceptionally clean and the owner had left some toiletries and food items, which was very welcoming. Communication with the owner was excellent and she was relaxed about check in and check out times. We had a lovely time.
