It was dirty, mice running around kitchen,living area,in peoples rooms, micowave is rusty ( has been reported nothing done to replace ) place is only cleaned once per week ( very quickly) have to vlean your own room, bed sheets, pillow cases, people when cooking just leave dirty pans, plates, 1 pregant lady left same day demands refund, another lady cried because of the state of the place, on T.V. is in the lounge ( not in your room) people allowed dogs should not be allowed 1 person would shower his dog leave it in a mess hairs all over shower would never tidy up leave empty boxes of pizza in kitchen, another had a big dog let it in back yard was dog mess all over back yard ( should clean it up ). Have to provide own toilet stuff, All lies from Booking.com you pay £90.00 extra per month for what!!! Place so dirty should be taken of booking.com website, owners only intested in taking money nothing else Wall in living room started painting wall not finished Can not supply photos as on other mobile phone ( DON'T know how to transfer from 1 phoe to the other ) 1 man did take photos and sent them, have photos of micowave, rubbish bin in kitchen full, food left in pans, food left in micowave ( eaten plate left in micowave ) I WILL NEVER RETURN ITS A DISGRACE

It was terrible, i would not reccomend this stay to anyone. i ask for a refund and wanted to leave.

the place is a constant mess mess, people make noise all hours of night, there is a bicycle in the little sitting area. there are little to no kitchen utensils the walls are in terrible condition, the carpets are filthy the room i was is had candle wax mess in it. lighters and sweet wrapper and other garbage mess under the bed. there is mold by the basin, this place is truly a absolute dump. to top it off my room smelt like a smoker was in it, i got woken up by noise 2 nights in a row by inconsiderate guest that had just been spoken to about making noise The video is the the noise at 3:25 AM. This House owner owes me a apology

The location in the middle of town was convenient. That's about the only thing good about this place.

Room was miniscule. Common spaces were routinely filthy. No one cleaned up after themselves and there was no regular cleaning from the management. Food everywhere, spilled milk, etc.

Absolutely nothing the property was disgusting I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it in my life... My daughter and her boyfriend stayed for 15 days here and in them 15 days not one cleaner came to clean their was mouldy food and pots and pans that were left for them 15 days room was riddled in bed bugs my daughter's boyfriend was bitten so bad... Sticky rat traps all over host doesn't give a SH*T and neither does booking.com please stay clear of this place it's a risk to health it's that filthy I have hundreds of pictures from over the 15 days I feel for anyone who stays here.

Everything about this is wrong I hope booking.com take this property off here it should not be advertised nothing like pictures.... Everything is dirty Everything stinks riddled in bedbugs and rats/mice mould everywhere just disgraceful host wants to be ashamed I message them several times about the cleanliness of the place got a reply once say it's shared areas.... The rest of the times I was ignored I wish I could upload more pictures and videos... Avoid at all costs!!!! 🤢

Completely scam!!!

This place shouldn’t be on booking.com anymore. The customer service is really rude and the room is totally dirty and different from the pictures shown on this profile. And the environment is not safe.

As soon as I arrived the room, the heating system is not working so that I did report and they said they will send someone to fix it but not on that day since the service worker are not available. So I did book for one night in Hotel and I believe that the heating system will be working the next day. But unfortunately not, I asked them again to fix it. But they said again they will send someone today and at the end of the day they didn’t send anyone and I cannot live in this freezing dirty room. So I asked them for refund and they said the heating system is nothing wrong. How could they know it is nothing wrong without checking and testing it. These renting profile should not be allowed to rent in this app anymore. They are totally scam and the house location area is completely unsafe and not in the convenient environment.

everything from drunken drug users greeting us sat on the doorstep to uncovering the blankets on the bed and finding insects flying about stayed 10 minutes phoned owner and booking .com and got no reply until yesterday when i was offered 44.00 pound compensation from booking .com when i payed £300 to stay there what a joke this site is

My Stay at Venue 153 Abingdon Road, Middlesbrough, Teesside.

The general atmosphere was good with the other occupants being nice and friendly. Staff wise, Sam was the only person who I was dealing with. She was friendly and very helpful to me, especially on my arrival & helping me with my luggage into the house. When booking online, I found everything easy & smooth going. However, it would have been an advantage to have been able to talk to the management/Sam Before I paid for my stay at 153 Abingdon Road. Self-catering facilities were good for someone preferring self-catering. My room was clean, warm and tidy with plenty of cupboard space for my luggage and personal items.

I found parking space for my car difficult, & from the advertisement when booking, the advertisement implies plentiful Private car parking. On my arrival, I found that parking space was only 'On Street' parking & and it was difficult to find an adequate space very close to the venue. I actually arrived at the venue 45 mins before I could park my car close to the venue. When booking my venue, I also expected the venue to be Bed n Breakfast, Not self catering, which I only discovered on arrival. This was not made clear in the advertisement when booking to stay at the venue. Had there been a phone number for me to check up about Breakfast served as in normal Bed n Breakfast venues prior to making the booking & paying in advance, , I would have looked for somewhere else to stay.

On the second evening I stayed at this property the door was physically kicked off the hinges at half 1 in the morning by 3 drug dealers coming to collect an outstanding debt by one of the permanent people who lives there. The door wasn't fixed for 48hrs leaving the place completely open to anyone wanting to gain entry. The place is a dump and without doubt the worst experience i've ever had whilst contracting around the U.K. avoid at all costs.

No TV in the room and unfortunately there was some very unsavoury characters that where staying there when I was there and they were in and out the property all night and then would play music loud and argue most of the night!!

l did not stay in the accommodation. l need a refund. The staff l reported the case to said they will refund two days mo

l don’t like the property. The room is so dirty and no ventilation. l was put in room 5 of the property. A 63 year old woman to be climbing steps up and down at night going to the toilet and floor not mopped, wet and prone to fall. Immediately l entered the room l was uncomfortable so l have to check out immediately. The poor condition didn’t allow me to sleep in the room. l went to book another place to stay for the 3 days. The poor condition and the stress l went through have triggered my asthma and l suffered for my stayed in Middlesbrough. l regret of the trip l made.
