Our stay at the waterfront house was amazing, but too short. The property is beautiful. The amenities were perfect and well thought out. The place was immaculate, Beds were comfortable and our family had so much room to lounge and relax. There is lots of room around the pool table to shoot. The sauna and hot tub were the perfect combination for relaxation. There is a back up generator in case of power failure which is a nice touch. The waterfront is stunning, and the property is very private. Check in and out were a breeze and communication throughout the process was stellar. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner! We took a hike to the top of Tramore cliffs, and although the hike was a bit arduous, the view from the top was so worth it. One of the greatest things was being able to bring our yellow lab. Although the property is pet friendly, you wouldnt know it from the cleanliness. On the way home, we stopped at the Mennonite farm stand to pick up some amazing produce. We plan to go back next year and stay for a week.

Wow! Look no further if you are looking for a home away from home! You've got a fully stocked kitchen, 2 fridges, 2 full baths, hot tub, sauna, outside deck with table for 10, loungers, peddle boat, kayaks, property that is large enough to set up a tent and tons of room for our pup to run and have fun! EV charger for those with electric cars. 25 min from Barry's Bay for groceries or a great dinner if you don't feel like cooking. Michal was great to communicate with, offered late check out (and a little early check in which is awesome) and quite honestly, there was nothing we missed from home! Washer/dryer for those that like doing laundry (me), comfy beds, lots of sheets, blankets and pillows! I could go on all day but I think you get the idea! :-). We were a family of 7 and had 2 visitors for the day and there was more than enough room for everyone!Thank you Michal for a wonderful extended long weekend! We had a great time!

We had a wonderful week at Michal’s cottage. Everything ran smoothly - check-in was seamless - Michal was quick to respond to any inquiries throughout - and we were thrilled to arrive to such a clean and well appointed “cottage”. The cottage was absolutely perfect for my family- tons of space and privacy for my three loud teen/early adult boys and two dogs (one very energetic). Had tons of fun playing various lawn games - soccer, frisbee, bucket golf - and then enjoying the waterfront - with kayaks and paddle boat, hot tub and sauna for further fun. Loved the very quiet setting -saw tons of deer wandering around in the fields (be careful driving the quiet lanes to the cottage) - was such a great escape for city dwellers. One thing that we also loved was the amazing deck and beautiful outdoor table (with mosquito nets) where we ate dinner every night. Very clean and impressive bbq. The pool table was also very appreciated. Only comment I have is that the waterfront is a bit weedy with lillypads etc but if you get past that area the river is great (and very clean). Also for those who like a very clear and shallow beach experience (for young kids especially) highly recommend driving 5 minutes or so to Deacon Beach on Golden Lake (Highway 60) which is small but gorgeous and very safe for non-swimmers.
