Beautiful location with stunning views. Comfortable although very small room in a character building. Air condition was essential during the heatwave. Wonderful family who were incredibly helpful. Dog friendly
Lots of Dog Pooh left next to the terrace/parking area. A Pooh bin is essential to ensure that guests clean up after their dogs.

We loved our overnight stay. The location is superb, the staff friendly and helpful, and the restaurant delicious. The lovely lady who checked us in even gave us a free room upgrade as they were not full that night. We had dinner in the restaurant, and it was superb too. We will definitely stay here again given the chance.
The bed was a tiny bit on the hard side for our taste, but not so much that we couldn't sleep. Would probably be perfect for some - beds firmness is such a personal thing! Mesh on the windows would be a welcome improvement as one of us reacts badly to mosquito bites, so we didn't want to leave the windows open at night.

Fantastic views and the river valley to swim in below.
Rooms are a bit basic and the chateau is a little scruffy around the edges but it’s worth the price paid.
