Location, privacy. Room had cube refrigerator and microwave.
Private sliding glass door entrance into a courtyard.
Lovely pool (had it been in season). Phillipe is obviously a gardener! Lots and lots of interesting potted plants to enjoy.
After reading other reviews about the hot water... Just be patient. It takes literally a couple of minutes for the water to change from could to hot. Then it is very hot. No problem.
Could use updates! Older carpet and paint. A person accustomed to a hotel would probably not be satisfied.
A larger fridge would be a big improvement.
My wife would not have been satisfied at all! I'm an a low key traveler more focused on price! While generally it was definitely no frills, I was satisfied and will return if I'm alone.

The house was very comfortable and felt like more of a home setting with private rooms. The host Philippe made everyone feel extremely welcome, and was generous with his time, advice, assistance and hospitality.
A short distance out of Tucson but free parking at the property and a bus stop direct to the centre right outside.

The host of this place is very hospitable and kind. He tried his best to keep his guests at ease and comfortable. His place is clean and cozy. This place is good enough for those who are looking for a place that is affordable and willing to share the place with the owner the house.
