Budapest Rooftop Nook

I really enjoyed this lovely apartment. It's very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Felt quite homey. Loved the wall of photos. High ceilings and tall windows, so lots of natural light. Big kitchen and large comfy sofa to relax. Bed and pillows were comfortable with a good mattress cover that doesn't make you sweat. Great rainfall shower, plenty of towels and toilet paper. Nice lamp fixtures, a full-length mirror, coat rack, power strips, and a washer. Air conditioning in both rooms worked great. I appreciated the bottled water in the fridge as I walked 18 minutes in the scorching heat from the train station. The location is great for walking everywhere. The apartment is in a typical older building with a center courtyard and outdoor walkways to the apartments. There are a few stairs to get to the elevator. There was some early morning construction during the weekdays in the vacant lot directly below the apartment, but I was out most of the day so not really a problem. Very quiet at night for sleeping. Vitalis was a wonderful host and very responsive and accommodating.

The washer smelled a bit like mildew so probably need to leave the door open after using so it can dry out.

We stayed at the nook for a few days whilst exploring Budapest. The apartment is just like the pictures, nice and clean with towels provided. The location is great and we walked to most places with plenty around. The apartment has a smart tv so you can log into your tv accounts which is amazing after a long day of exploring the city. It had a washing machine and clothes maiden which is great for longer stays! You can tell lots of thought and effort has gone into to decorating the apartment with a book for guests telling us about the history of Budapest. Really nice touch. We had a great time! Thanks!
