Gulf Island #224

Very peaceful, wonderful location! Across the street from blue water and to the right of our condo was an inlet off of the Gulf. Great for fishing!

The apartment itself was very nice. Having a place to cook and living room to relax was a plus. You could see the sunset from the balcony every night. Master bedroom had it's own bath and access to balcony. Very pretty decorations and comfortable couch. Smart TV had tons of channels.

We stayed in a 2nd floor apartment. Upstairs apartment had children running and banging all day and into the late evening. Not very relaxing when it sounded like a bomb going off most of the time. The pictures were a little deceiving. Made it look like it had a private walk to a beach. The picture was for a beach access down across the road that went to the ocean. The little bit of beach that was on the property, which was very hard to get to, around 6 people could sit on, about 3 ft of sand between water edge and sand dunes. Also shows pictures of grills....we could not find any. There is nothing in the apartment. You must bring everything with you. Shampoo, soap, beach towels, extra dish soap and laundry detergent. There is a dollar tree just across the bridge to get sundry items though. Our flight got canceled and we wanted to stay past 9am, which I think is way to early to be kicked out of a rental. Most places let you stay until 11am, but they would not allow it. So we had to fend for ourselves for 12 hours until it was time to go to the airport. Check in is at 4pm, not a minute sooner, so do not even try. Door is very hard to open with code entry. Takes about 3x of resetting before the door will unlock. Small pool and a resident babysat her 8 preschool grandchildren in it every day... so could not enjoy at all.

Very nice and felt like home

Noise from upstairs. All night long. Sounded as though they were moving furniture. Blinds were even shaking in my room.
