Peaceful yet conveniently located apartment

Very peaceful spot despite being close to the main road, which made it very convenient to get to nearby Blickling Hall and Aylsham, as well as further afield. The apartment had everything I needed as well as lovely views across open fields as the sun rose. I was there in December and the heating was excellent and very controllable to get just the right temperature.

A peaceful location, lovely thoughtfully decorated place to stay.

Lovely quiet location with open views to a field. Great attention to detail given to decor, cleanliness and the wild animal theme - very cute! Lovely contact with the proprietor by email (we were not there long enough to actually meet).

We didn’t realise it was a double bed and found it a bit small - my mistake for not checking details properly. It is self catering but there is not much storage for putting away food items without re-arranging the cupboards.

Cosy stopover perfect for two people

An adorable outbuilding stay which was cosy, quaint and well equipped. The room was warm (almost too warm, we did turn the heaters off… very efficient) and comfortable, we enjoyed the ‘Animals of Farthing Wood’ style county touches with typical countryside animals, including of course badgers! Having milk and cereal, tea and coffee to hand etc was welcome for our full day of activities - just wish we could have spent longer in the property. A short drive to the nearest supermarket. Host was very communicative and allowed us a grace period to nip back after our Parkrun (nearby)

Absolutely nothing! Maybe a coir scrape mat outside or just inside as we worried our muddy winter shoes would drop mud on the inside of the entrance threshold.

Badgers drift is in a wonderful location with lots of wildlife to admire. Immaculate accommodation with everything you could possibly need, there’s also plenty of parking which is always a win. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating. I will definitely be returning.

Amazing break from the city in the countryside

Had such a comfortable & homely vibe, the perfect getaway if you prefer some of the more peaceful and serene countryside…. A lovely escape from the city. Very Well furnished and there wasn’t a single thing that the property didn’t have. I would definitely come back again 10/10. :)

Just perfect

We had very good communication with the owner on how to find Beechcroft barns.There is lots of room for parking.we stayed in the first barn Badgers drift. You enter through a lovely private patio area into the barn.In side it is just lovely, very spacious ,immaculately clean and well equipped for cooking .We had a lovely nights sleep and enjoyed watching the hares running around the large garden.

Badgers drift was a beautiful place to stay, lovely and quiet, and enjoyed watching the sunset and the bunny’s hop around, the barn has a home from home feel, beautifully decorated and had everything you could need.

Lovely home from home for me, the little get away that I needed

Lovely spacious property with a great view and lots of peace and quiet. Comfortable furnishings and quality facilities. Excellent location, within easy reach of the North Norfolk coast and also Norwich city to the south. Delightful friendly hosts. Very good value, highly recommend.

Lovely location and very clean. Communication with the owners was easy and clear, couldn't fault it. Nice place to stay. Nice little touches in providing cereal, a pint of milk as well as a few jams, tea and coffee. Much appreciated.

Sadly the fridge was a bit on the noisy side which stopped us from getting a full night sleep, this was even having the bedroom door closed. Sadly there's not much that can be done to rectify this but just wanted to pass the feedback. All other aspects of the stay were fine.

Peaceful & cosy

So clean & decorated to a very high standard! Lovely added extra’s like milk, cereal, blanket, shower gel, utensils for cooking & plenty more. After a 6 hour drive, I entered a picturesque long drive with rabbits running in the open field. The enjoyment didn’t stop there, when I walked into the property, it was cosy, warm & welcoming. Just a great place to stay & it was lovely to hear from the owners (through Booking.com) to welcome me in & check everything was ok. Will definitely be my first choice to stay if I’m ever staying in Norwich again so thank you!

Cosy, clean, comfortable stay

The owners gave us a detailed description of where to locate the property, easy access and safe box key entry. Badgers drift was spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a fabulous peaceful location. The bed was comfortable with a lovely shower room off the bedroom. A lovely comfortable reclining sofa to sit and relax whilst watching tv. A delightful cosy spacious barn conversion with everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay. Spacious car park too.
