Pet-Friendly Cottage, Walk From Big Bear Village!

The cabin was cozy, clean, and very well stocked with toiletries, snacks, breakfast condiments, and plenty of towels. We were also pleased with the comfort of our rooms which had plenty of fans and heaters available in case we needed them. I was also pleased to find a 12 cup coffeemaker available for use as we are huge coffee drinkers in our family. Karen did a wonderful job of preparing the cabin for our stay and The Village is super close by that you can safely walk there in minutes. Bathtubs were squeaky clean as all bathrooms, kitchen, living room and family room upstairs. Overall a peaceful and restful holiday weekend for us. We will definitely be looking into staying here next time. Karen was warm and friendly and a most gracious hostess, if you have any questions or need hot spots around Big Bear to visit or dine at she has all the ins and outs of the mountain. Manny’s is a MUST, delicious martinis and the food was wonderful (big portions) and very reasonably priced. Saucy Mama’s Pizza was delicious as was Oakside for dinner and drinks, loved Oakside’s dirty vodka martinis!

Not so much as a dislike because we were very pleased with our stay, just recommending that they add a grill to the back patio as it’s a wonderful spot to grill at during holidays. Karen recommended a place to purchase a propane fuel grill which we did shortly.

We really loved the location being close to the lake and the village. The cabin had that rustic cabin charm which we enjoyed.

Could have used some additional comfortable seating in the living room and clean up outdoor seating. The property needs a little maintenance in terms of painting and decking showing a lot of wear

This rental was absolutely gorgeous. We had everything we needed to cook for a small group of 6, use the fireplace, and have a lovely brunch on the shaded balcony. The space had super cute furnishing, too! We felt cozy, relaxed and immersed during our stay.

The cabin was quiet, clean, and modern inside. The host, Karen, was above and beyond fabulous. Through our stay she was friendly, kind, and accommodating. It was in the perfect area!
