Location is great but for this price, we expected more.

The location, right next to the lake.

Heating in the room is inadequate. There is only heating in the main room but not at all in the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom becomes a meat locker in the morning. Also, the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. It should not even be considered appropriate for having more than two people in the room. Also, kitchenware is not adequate either. There is no ventilation for cooking And there are only two chairs for four people. And the whole place was under construction. Overall, not too happy for the price we paid. If you advertised it, deliver what you advertised.

They have a good location that save a lot of traffic going to the village during Christmas time.

The motel room was a bit small to accommodate 2 queen beds.. the microwave was kept on top of the fridge and there was no table/platform to keep things, such as the hot mug or plate you take out from the microwave… you can add a bit larger sturdy table to give some space for people to keep things such as mugs from microwave, and coffee maker…

Great place could be better

The location is great! Right in the middle of all things. It’s by the lake, restaurants which is great.

They have a big ass bathroom, but the shower it floods and water gets all over the place..since there is no proper way for water to drain, unfortunately my bathroom had water accumulated all 3 nights.. Housekeeping is on request only I prefer when they check every other day or so without the need to request that’s just better hospitality.

Good staff but AC was acting up and made the stay overwhelmed

The staff were very welcoming & nice. The location was very good. However, the AC was not working and the room felt hot. We tried to adjust it but simply the T-stat was not working. It was just not ideal especially with having a pregnant lady in the room

I liked that this hotel was in front of the lake, near down town, near a lot of places actually. I liked my view from the second floor.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Many holes in both beds that make you sink, minor stains noted, ac/heater locked. I couldn’t adjust the heat to turn it off. They had a fan—which I’m assuming was to cool you down but it made my nose really dry.

They are not honest

I paid booking. com and when we arrived at the office the lady from the counter told me that my oayment from booking. Did not go through so i paid again of 133.34 but booking. com said we are all set.

Easy walk into town center

Cabin was one of oldest, many disappointing features. Was not the cabin we desired and chose on the reservation site. Pictures were very different from what we were given

Will be definitely staying here for our next trip to big Bear

We loved that it was so close to the village where all the shopping and restaurants are located. The view was beautiful. Cabin was very clean and spacious for the two of us.

The only negative thing I have to say was our bed that was in the cabin was extremely bouncy and soft. We do prefer a more firm mattress. This one was like sleeping on an air mattress for us.

Location (perfect for watching the fireworks at the lake and walking distance to the village), staff, the fact that it had a pool and the basketball hoop. The games were also a plus.

Wifi barely worked (we stayed at the hotel, not a cabin). Walls were probably very thin as we could hear everything our neighbors were talking about. Also, we could hear everything our step the room upstairs gave. Barely slept through the evenings we stayed there.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful lakeside lodge

We had a lovely stay here as a family of three (two adults, one 7 year old child) + our dog. The property was centrally located, but also felt quiet and safe. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated, and we loved both the pool and easy lake access.

Our room was adjacent to a utility room of some sort, and we could hear the whirring of AC units turning off and on.

Good location, nice size room, but there are a few issues

Convenient, good sized room, tidy

A string mop doesn't clean lvp flooring, invest in a cross-wave bc unfortunately the floors were dirty. The phone in the room did not work, I called the hotel directly but no one answered. I sent a message through booking to the office, but the hotel did not respond. One of the queen beds was not level, so guests sleep on a downward trajectory. The pool, which is not that large, is unsupervised and older teenagers doing cannonballs that spread water over guests on loungers is inappropriate, but who would care? These are fixable problems

The staff were very friendly

The cabin was incredibly small. We had booked thinking we would have one night in, cook dinner and enjoy a cute mountain cabin together etc. The kitchen was absolutely tiny. And the cabin itself was super basic, not cosy or well decorated or well designed. So we spent most of the time out of the cabin - which kinda defeated the point in us getting a cabin.

Relaxing in Big Bear

The room was modern and it had nice amenities. Having shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower area is great. I also liked the fire pit and bbq outdoor area. The view of the lake was also very nice. Close proximity to The Village was great.

Some recommendations would be to add some non slip stickers to the tub and a hand rail to assist with exiting the tub. It would have also been nice to have two folding chairs in the room. There was plenty of space to store them next to the trashcan. A small bistro table would have been nice too.

Facility was under construction. Pool was surrounded by trucks, workers and noise. Room was VERY basic. Not one hook to hang clothes. Heater hard to operate. Vacant rooms with lake view empty, we had view of driveway. Parking inadequite.
