Capricorn House

We liked everything about our stay. From the minute we walked in until the day we left, the vibe was perfect. The accommodation’s and location were excellent and the owner was an amazing human!

There was not one thing we didn’t like!

The staff and location were AMAZING!

The room was a little tight but we spent most of our time exploring Martha’s Vineyard or hanging out on the front porch.

The location, the staff, the convenience all make the Capricorn a must stay when visiting Oak Bluffs. You are seconds from the free bus route which will take you to many great locations. Walking distance to shops. It’s got history and located on a scenic neighborhood. You have access to the patio, outdoor shower, kitchen, complimentary coffee, tea and a fridge. The beds are comfortable and really nice air conditioning units in each room. A must in the summer. Check in and check out was a breeze. Really appreciate the Capricorn house for being a great spot for guests to feel at home.

There could be some cosmetic improvements to the rooms that could really make it a 10. The shower was more of just a simple shower head. The lock on the door was finicky, at times. But for the price point and all the other positives we didn’t mind

Location was great, facilities were good. Access to clean towel renewal was good. Access to towels for beach was good. Rocking chairs are great. Sunroom is nice place to sit and watch passersby.

Didn’t like the tiny bed, the ticks and multiple ants everyday was ridiculous. Also I sent the goats info about the ticks and they never addressed my concerns so I didn’t even bother with the ant situation.
