Torre Ligny Trapani Apartment

This little apartment is clean, simple, and perfectly placed: a five-minute walk to the ferry terminal, which makes it a dream base for exploring the Egadi Islands. The living room does get a little tight with the sofa bed and table set up, but no drama for our family. There's no real sit down balcony, but the doors open up to let in the morning sun and fresh air with your coffee. For a couple or a family using Trapani as a launchpad, the location alone is worth it. The host was welcoming and gave us advice on how to spend our time. His digital guide sent beforehand was also well-structured and informative. He responded swiftly to any questions we had. Trapani's ZTL system can be confusing for a newcomer, and the guidance could have been more proactive. It took us a while to work out that "yellow zone" on the parking signs is the zone name, not the colour of the lines. We ended up in the blue-striped spots right by the apartment (€1/hour during paid periods 08–20, free midday) — perfectly fine once you get it. Tip: download the EasyPark app before you arrive. There are no supermarkets nearby, but a small shop up the street covers the basics. The centre of Trapani is a pleasant ten-minute walk away and packed with great restaurants. We liked Moai Sunset for tapas with a view of the sunset.
