This accommodation could be fabulous, good location right on the beach, secure and spacious.
Very basic and not very welcoming, smelt damp with patches on the walls.
No frills, didn't even get a bottle of water in the fridge.
With a bit of TLC and thought, could be 5 star.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage, direkt am Strand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Besonders der Sonnenaufgang am Morgen war unglaublich schön. Die Küchenausstattung ist gut, sodass man auch problemlos selbst kochen kann. In der Nähe gibt es einige Sehenswürdigkeiten, zudem ist Agios Andreas schnell erreichbar. Neben dem Strand gibt es auch ein Restaurant, wo man etwas essen und trinken kann. Es ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, für den Aufenthalt ein Auto zu mieten. Der Strand ist sehr sauber und die privaten Strandliegen sind ein echtes Plus.

The location was ideal for a quiet holiday and close to supermarkets and decent restaurants.
The apartment had no mosquito screens, so we were forced to keep all the windows closed at all times and rely on the air conditioning. The owner informed us that there were no screens because there were supposedly no mosquitoes due to prior spraying. However, the presence of other insects (flying ants and more), which may have even been coming in through the air conditioner, was far from pleasant. These insects gathered by the dozens on the windows and walls.
I managed to reduce the problem by installing screens myself using double-sided tape that I bought on my own. I removed both the screens and the tape at the end of our stay.
Also, there was no cleaning service provided during our stay. We had to sweep, mop, and make the beds ourselves. However, we were given clean sheets
and towels halfway through our stay.
