Chez les artistes de Ménilmontant

The apartment is located on the groundfloor which was convenient as the building doesn't have a lift. It perfectly matches the pictures and was well equipped. The host was welcoming and friendly when she handed me the keys. She also took some time to give some nice tips about the neighbourhood. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery options around, with buses and metro stations a few minutes away. I love the fact that the apartment had cleaning supplies and already some seasoning for cooking. There was also a good amount of storage for my clothes.

The living room has a lot of daylight but the window can't be opened. Only the one in the bedroom can be opened.

Fantastic location! Nice an clean, all necessary equipment.

The only downside was limited ability to cool down the apartment, especially the Livingroom/kitchen which we also used as bedroom. We visited Paris during the crazy heatwave June 2026, with degrees up to 40 centigrades. As long as night temp came down to 20-22 the apartment cooled down during night, but warmer nights were HOT.

Very nice host. Appartment is tastefully decorated and has everything one would need even for somewhat longer stays. There are a couple of very nice places to eat nearby, with food from every corner of the world.

Not at all soundproof. There's quite a bit of noise from people going in and out of the building and taking out their trash.
