I think this accommodation perfectly reflected exactly what I came to Africa and Zanzibar for! If you want to get a glimpse into the local lifestyle and truly understand and experience it, this is the perfect place to stay! Above all, the most important thing is to make an effort to connect with them; if you don't show interest or approach them, they will remain distant and passive, doing only what’s strictly required without offering anything more. Not only is the accommodation perfectly located in Zanzibar, far away from mass tourism, but the staff working here are exceptionally warm-hearted, kind, and attentive people. Suzy and the team help with everything to ensure you have a perfect, relaxing stay. The kitchen is fantastic, but we especially loved the long, hearty breakfasts accompanied by the waves and the playfulness of the local monkeys :D. The best part, however, was having long conversations with the staff; we got to understand the joys and struggles of their everyday lives, and we could also share the similarities and differences of our own culture with them! The tide phenomenon here holds so many adventures and wonders. Also, if you have a rental car, everything is reachable within about 15 minutes at a fraction of the price compared to booking through any hotel or online platform—plus, you can barter a bit with the locals too. This was truly one of the best accommodations of my life! I am deeply grateful for this fantastic 5-day stay. Thank you so much!

Wunderbares Haus, geräumig, alles vorhanden, direkter Zugang zum Meer. Einzigartige Lage, toller kleiner Pool. Wunderschöne Gartenalage. Das inkludierte Frühstück war super lecker und reichhaltig. Wir haben uns super sicher gefühlt, da immer ein Wachmann auf der Anlage ist. Viel Personal für die Reinigang im Haus, der Gartenanlage säubern und Küche. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, absolute Empfehlung!! Essensangebot für Lunch und Dinner verfügbar, wir haben außerhalb das Angebot genutzt.

Nichts. Zugang zum Haus über Schotterpiste (nichts außergewöhnliches in Sansibar), ein Auto ist von Vorteil.

Sehr schönes Haus an schönem Strand, Küche zweckmäßig

Für (lebhafte) Kinder unter 16 Jahren ungeeignet, da gleich am ersten Tag zur Ruhe gemahnt wurde, Pool nur sehr ruhig zu benutzen. Unpersönliche Kommunikation (alle per WhatsApp, keine kurzfristigen Essenwünsche), mäßig freundliches Personal. Wir haben kein Essen bis auf inklusives Frühstück bestellt (sehr teuer). Mehrtägiger Stromausfall (nur unsere Unterkunft), das leider auch Ventilatoren/AC UND Wasser betraf. Haben einen großen Eimer für die Toilette auf Anfrage bekommen, sowie ein Abendessen spendiert.
