Uncomfortable

Close to stores and public transportation

The stairs to the gallery bed are actually a ladder and there is no standing room near the bed. Very thin walls. The window and door are ok for natural lighting unless you don’t like people walking on the street looking straight into your place. Temperature regulation is tricky, especially in the gallery. The courtyard turned out to be very small but there weren’t too many guests so we managed.

Scam, left us looking for emergency accommodation

Terrible experience, the host was unreachable either by us or booking and we were forced to find alternate accommodation last minute. I was also charged a 350 euros cancellation fee by the property despite them ignoring my efforts to receive check in details. This was initially taken as a deposit which I have yet to receive back.

In my unit, the stairs to the loft bedroom were narrow and the toilet was on the first floor. So you jest had to be careful if you needed to use it in the middle of the night. Minor inconvenience and they made a great use of space.

Lovely flat if it were not so hot

Good location. Clean.

Very hot. Small window they did not let air in. Broken fan with difficulty obtaining a fan they worked. Very uncomfortable to be in the flat at all. Could not return to flat during the day to rest due to heat. Also one night the smell coming from the shower was pure sewage.

The bed up top was really cramped. Was not made clear in description. We were there during extreme heat and it was difficult To sleep, even with fan. Bathroom had bad smell when we arrived and we did not have towels until late afternoon after travel from overseas all night

Great apartment for our trip to Paris and the Moulin Rouge.

Perfect location for the Montmartre area, and the Metro to the city centre. Good local facilities and the flat has everything you need.

No air con, but a fan was provided, and the terrace area didn’t have enough seating for all the flats in the courtyard.

Great home base in Montmartre!

Fantastic location, great shower, easy check in, pretty cozy bed! Was a great little apartment in an ideal location.

Didn’t have a dish towel, which sounds like a little thing, but affected our choices when it came to cooking. Do be careful with the loft ceiling and stairway, too.

Great location, book if you don't mind the noise

The location is excellent, and the neighborhood is lovely. Plenty of enjoyable restaurants in the vicinity, walkable distance to the metro (it's not too central, so keep that in mind when you're planning activities). Very soft beds. Two showers (had plenty of hot water), one toilet. Quick responses from the managers. Keep in mind you have to fill out an online check in form and send a picture of your documents (that's meh). All of the kitchen amenities worked. I'm giving it a 7 because the studio was well kept and the area is awesome, I should have listened to other reviewers though.

Soundproofing is horrible - if your neighbor wakes up early to catch a flight, tough luck, you're awake as well. Had the misfortune of hearing every word of a very private phone conversation of the British man upstairs (yikes). A company of wild hippos was staying with him, or at least that's our guess after the stampede we could hear through the ceiling. Funky smell from the downstairs shower room. Some screws missing from the chairs, made them wonky. Overall I would not book again, simply because sleeping was hardly possible.

Charming and cute

Very cozy and has an authentic charm to it! Very clean and the location was wonderful, lots of cute streets to walk around and places to eat food! There is a little courtyard outside that is nice for morning tea. I also really liked the bed being up the stairs, my partner and I called it the "treehouse bed"

It was hard to regulate the temperature as the heat turned the bed area too hot (up the stairs) but the living room (downstairs) remained chilly. The bathroom floors were also quite cold. Not a dealbreaker by any means, it was manageable for sure. Just worth mentioning

A nice cosy stay in Paris

Bed was comfy, had good little kitchenette which was handy, cute little living room ecen though was quite small. the room is smaller than what it looks like in the photos.

The shower kept running out of hot water, on our last morning we had to have cold showers - there was no hot at all.

THE PLACE NICE AND CLEAN AND A GOOD LOCATION

ALL OF THE APARTMENT WAS ON THE 2. FLOOR WITH VERY NARROW STEPS . IT WAS NOT VERY CLEAR FROM THE PICS OR THE DESCRIPTION. WE ARE BOTH IN THE 80.(85+83)IT WAS NOT EASY TO GET THE SUITCASES UP THERE.

cute spot in Montmarte

The house is on a very accessible location, you can either walk or take metro to your desired destination. It was very clean and handy and I felt safe.

Normally I wouldnt mind, there is a bit of an issue with ants, they got all into my suitcase and jacket, So it may be it is something to take care.

A pleasant flat in an great part of Paris

This is a pleasant if compact flat in a wonderful area of Paris. The flats are in a secure courtyard and are quiet. Superb bakeries, restaurants and wine bars around the corner, but this is not an area overrun by tourists, though well connected. The flat was clean and pleasantly presented and was nicely heated in chilly Nov. The bed was comfortable. Communication with the owners was professional and efficient. You don't actually see anyone, but everything is well organised.

The flat is cleverly designed to make the most of a small space, but There are some cooking facilities - we didn't use them - but not really designed for true self-catering. The sleeping area is up a flight of fairly steep stairs and the toilet is downstairs (though not the bathroom).

Good place to stay in this famous area.

With the bug alerts about Paris, this apartment was totally clean, before we came we did request this also. And the owner explained it all well how they take care of these thing. The place (app #4) was reachable inside on the 1st floor via a stair. It is safe this area, entering the premises is also very safe and i think the neighborhood is also safe. A shop around the corner 7 days a week. Metro nr 12 is just a 5 minutes walk. Television is smart so you can watch a lot with your own account like netflix etc etc.

great location a short walk from Monmartre and yet in a quiet street. I was pleasantly surprised by the 18th arrondisement. Lots of shops, cafes and good restaurants. Julie provided excellent service and advised on everything. Hats off

Unfortunately we were in Paris during the great heat of 29-31 degrees. Superior studio could not be ventilated so maybe air conditioning or make a classic French window would have been useful.

Cute apartment in Montmartre with good access to public transport. Excellent location in my opinion - slightly away from the centre of Paris which meant that it is slightly cheaper, but close enough to the metro that everything is easily accessible. Plus, Montmartre is one of the cutest neighbourhoods in Paris to spend a few days - amazing restaurants and things to do at night.

A great location for an on the go Paris trip.

The location was great in Montmartre. Very easy access to the Metro and local grocery store.

A few basic amenities that I generally find standard in a rental were missing such as hand soap in the bathroom, washcloth, a dish rag to wipe the counters, salt and pepper and an extra blanket. Not deal breakers but a few things that would have been simply nice to have and not have to go buy. Lastly, the couch in the apartment we stayed was VERY uncomfortable to use even for short periods.

Great flat at reasonable price in very nice area

Nice flat

Minor issues: 1. we had to buy toilet paper as there there was none, 2. tv did not work properly. Bigger issues: 3. no hangers on walls (there is a closet, but it would be nice to hand things like bags on walls); nor furniture with drawers; in the shower there is no facility to place soap/shampoo, we could only place them on the ground. 4. bedroom is a short under-roof space with no possibility of standing up, and with no drawers. On point 1 (no toilet paper in the bathroom): we asked the managing agent whether it was normal not to have toilet paper provided and they sent us the photo of the bathroom (with toilet paper) that they got from the cleaner before we got in. Clearly that photo was taken on another occasion, but not that time.

perfect place for a short stay in Paris

a really nice location and the apartment has everything you may need. I personally loved the small kits - for bathroom & kitchen. also a very friendly manager, helped us a lot :)

it’s tiny - we had no problems with that but to fit everything at one place, some weird construction decisions were made: like bathroom at the second floor, while toilet being on the first. also, the ceiling in the bedroom made it comfortable to get into the bed just from one side, as the ceiling on the other is quite low

Very good

My boyfriend and I were in the apartment number 5. The location was good, in a nice neighborhood, the street was quiet. A well suplied supermarket is around the corner, and in a 10 minute walk you can find anything from backeries, shops and coffee palces. The apartment felt secure because you have several security codes when entering the property and eventually a key for your appartment. There are two tables with chairs in the yard with plants surrounding you where you can relax, read and smoke. The heat system is very good, you can set the temperature you want and it's quickly warm inside. The bed matress is soft and the pillows and covers are I think stuffed with feathers. Also there is a roof window above the bed which is nice because you can watch the stars before you go to sleep. In the morning the sun doesn't wake you up aggresivly rather in a right amount. The kitchen is equipped for cooking but we didn't cook. Everything was clean.

When you book this appartment you'll receive a duve link for filling out your details again and also you're required to send a photo of your passport (as the owner said its because of some French regulation) and you're required to fill up your payment details for a security deposit of 350e. There are two thing I'm going to mention and I think the owner should try to fix them because I don't think are okay. The first thing was that I was supposed to be pre-authorised/reserved for a 350e (they send me a screenshot) but my card was actually pre-authorized/reserved with 700e. The owners later said that this sometimes happen but for me this isn't a thing that could just happen and they should sort this out with the Duve platform that they are using. They should either state that the deposit is 700e or fix this with the platform because I needed the funds on my credit card for other things and it made me a problem. The second thing is that the day before we checked out, we received a duve chekout link for feedback and other things such as the check out process and an option for private shuttle to the airport. We reserved a ride to the airport. I got the confirmation email and was charged with a small amount of money and accoring to the email the rest I should give in cash to the driver. The taxi transfer didn't arrive and we ended up taking a Bold taxi to the airport.

Bella posizione in una via tranquillissima. La corte comune agli appartamenti in affaccio carina

Posizione strategica e molto tranquilla. Ben servita con negozi di vario genere. Ottimo il fruttivendolo in fondo alla strada con piatti del giorno da asporto e boulangeries eccellenti nelle immediate vicinanze. A due passi dalla bellissima Montmartre e place du tartre.

Soppalco con altezza bassissima, raggiungibile con una scaletta ripidissima quasi verticale che causava molte difficoltà per salire e scendere. Letto matrimoniale a terra, scomodissimo e stretto come 1 piazza 1/2 e materasso non confortevole. Bagno con lavandino minuscolo, inadeguato. Utensili di cucina ridotti al minimo con 1 sola padella utilizzabile mentre l'altra graffiata e non presentabile.
