Brand new villa with private pool and terrace Alcamo marina

We had a lovely time at this property and had no issues. We were a party of 6 adults but had 2 extra people for the first 2 days so the extra beds came in handy. The bedrooms were large and well equipped with effective air conditioning. The kitchen was compact but had everything we needed and was supplemented by the outdoor cooking area and washing machine. The outdoor space was great, especially the roof balcony which had extensive views and was our favourite place to spend time watching the sunset. The pool was larger than expected and pleasantly warm. Although in a residential area it was peaceful at night and we did not experience any issues with noise. The nearest beach is a 5 minute drive away and is potentially walkable although there is a steep hill on the way back. There are also a number of good local restaurants. We found that it was a good base for travel to Palermo, Trapani, Erice, Marsala, Castellamare del Golfo and Scopello. Vito the host was lovely. He left a large spread of fruit, wine and beer on our arrival and delicious Cannolli on the eve of our departure. He also came in to clean the pool during our stay but was never intrusive.

The family are so welcoming and helped us out with food location, different locations to see and parking. you will need a car for a better experience of the area.

Mooie week gehad in een prima verblijf, kregen zelfs lekkere broodjes voor vertrek. Jammer dat er op loopafstand niets te doen is. Strand dichtbij maar stijle helling om er naar toe te lopen.

Great warm welcome at the start of our holiday. Comfortable and very clean. Everything you need is there.
