Eher schlichtes, aber hübsches Zimmer in ruhiger, absolut zentraler Lage. Schön saniertes, modernes Bad. Für die Eigenversorgung steht zwar nur ein Wasserkocher (nebst Teeauswahl) zur Verfügung, dafür gibt es in wenigen Fußminuten Entfernung Bäckereien, Restaurants bzw. Imbisse (u.a. indisch und vietnamesisch) sowie einen Supermarkt. Zum See (Foto) ist es ein Katzensprung. Entfernung zur Waldsee-Therme: ca. 20 Fußminuten, Entfernung zum Bahnhof (Verbindungen Richtung Ulm/Bodensee und München/ Augsburg) ca. 10-15 Minuten.
Leider gab es keine Gelegenheit, nasse und schmutzige Winterschuhe abzustellen, weswegen es nicht einfach war, die Teppichböden über Tage hinweg trocken und frei von Streusplitt zu halten. Bei Minus-Außentemperaturen und Nachtabschaltung der Heizung kühlte das Zimmer im historischen Haus nachts rasch aus, und es wurde ziemlich frisch. Daher: Nichts für Empfindliche.

Central location in the old town
Garage door very noisy, it is directly under room 51. The last time it woke me was 0200 AM. The floor above me made strong cracking sound whenever someone moved. Unfortunately that person came home only at 0115 AM. Not a quiet night at all.
