About this cottage rental
It is a century-old house that has now been restored while preserving its essence as a simple home for shepherds and hardworking people. A house that’s “quite a curiosity” due to its location and views, open to everyone.
While preserving the essence and structure of La Casa, many of its features have been modified and adapted to offer a more welcoming, accessible, and functional stay following a major renovation.
The entire house has been renovated according to principles of sustainability and responsible consumption: pellet (biomass) heating, solar panels, electric car charging, and energy-efficient appliances.
The first floor is accessible to people with disabilities or limited mobility: bathroom, kitchen, and dining room. In this spacious, open area, next to the kitchen, there is a large wooden table, a TV, and a reading nook… creating a cozy space around the pellet stove.
On the first floor is the master bedroom with a double bed, an optional crib, and a lounge area, complete with a TV. On this same floor, there is also a smaller bedroom with two single beds. The floor has a full bathroom.
The second floor (formerly an attic) is the most spacious and bright. It sleeps four in an open, multifunctional space: a play area, a reading nook, and views of the sunset… This floor also features a private office and a full bathroom.
The home is equipped with Wi-Fi.
Pets are welcome provided they have responsible owners.
Smoking is not permitted in any room of the house.
