The pool is lovely and well maintained; the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable; the kitchen is a good size and well equipped; good Wi-Fi and the air conditioning worked well. Rui, the owner was very friendly and extremely helpful and responsive. Good restaurants, nice shops and beautiful beaches only a 10-15 minute walk.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property, but there are opportunities to improve the guests’ experience. Some examples are: • The shower rooms could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly (there were smudges from the cleaning cloth on the shower screens). • Towels for the pool. • A parasol for guests to use on the beach - we bought one and left it there. • some beach equipment like rackets, balls, buckets and spades. • More toilet paper.

The house is in a newly built area, large bedrooms, two modern bathrooms and a great size pool and patio. The parking is private, the area is quiet and was pretty empty when we visited so we had privacy. There are metal shutters on the windows which are great for blocking out the light to sleep and keeping the house cool in the day time. The houses are very close together in the area so if there are people staying in all of them, it will get loud and there's little privacy by the pool as it's facing the street.

As it's a modern house it was quite expensive so with that come higher expectations of what's provided for our stay. We would have appreciated some coffee pods for the coffee machine, some towels for the pool or rugs on the floor for the wet tiles. Bring bug spray with you, good for mosquitoes and also little ants that can come in through the patio.
