The location was perfect for my circumstances, the house was very clean, the hosts even included essentials e.g. Milk, butter, snacks etc, ready for my arrival which was amazing especially the time I arrived. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately the parking wasn't ideal, this is no fault of the owners but you had to time it right to get a place at the back or the property where you could see your car of park in the market place with time restrictions due to the local council. Maybe if there was a permit or something that would help, but again, no fault of the hosts, just an observation.

Split level layout was great, decor and layout was lovely, attentions to detail and welcome gestures from the host most appreciated. Shower was excellent and the tvs in lounge and bedroom. Great facilities in the kitchen and such a lovely kitchen and lounge area. The location was great and parking in the square was easy and I felt safe to leave the car. When inside and the heating and small ambient lighting, the place was so homely and comfortable. The local area had a great range of food venues, pub and shops all less than 2-5 mins walk away. A big thank you for making our Xmas enjoyable and comfortable and we look forward to a return visit in 2026.

Very small bathroom sink and the bed was quite small for 2 taller adults and had hard mattress and I personally thought the outside could have been a bit tidier / more looked after but I appreciate it may be the responsibility of multiple people / owners.

Cosy and comfortable cottage, well appointed inside. Location is fine - on the town square and surrounded by gentle hills for good walking.

Bathroom sink is tiny.

The cottage is well equipped with the best shower in the world!! Very comfortable front room and bed too. good location and lovely little town, everyday shop and lovely pub and takeaways are very good too.

Nothing to do with the cottage but were not happy when changed dates due to mother in law being very poorly and had to pay over £70 extra. Also there is a loading bay at back but since our previous visit the alleyway down the side where i could bring bags through easier from loading bay now has keys so couldnt get through and the front room window was very difficult to open much so couldnt have passed bags through there.
