Es könnte auch ein englisches Herrenhaus in Cornwall sein - eine gute Kombination von historisch und modern. Die Lage ist unglaublich ruhig, nur 200m vom Deichradweg entfernt. Von der Terrasse schaut man auf den Blumengarten. Unsere Räder fanden Platz in der Scheune - selbstverständlich mit Elektroanschluss. Frühstück und Service waren ausgezeichnet.
Wir waren wohl in den heißesten Tagen des Sommers dort. Und da hat eine Klimaanlage (zumindest im Schlafzimmer) sehr gefehlt. Bei offenem Fenster wurden wir von den Bauarbeiten des in der Rekonstruktion befindlichen Nebenhauses geweckt.

Das Haus, die Lage, der Hof, allgemein das ganze Anwesen war traumhaft schön. Einmal wie eine Prinzessin fühlen.
Die Matratze war uns zu weich
