Family apartment Kreso Vodice

Bare bones apartment. When we entered, they hadn’t set up for our fifth person even though reservation was clearly for five people. Beds are old and creaky. All area rugs feel filthy underfoot. The couch also needs a detox. I would suggest an investment in couch covers that can be switched out and washed between bookings. There are no mosquito nettings on any of the windows or balcony doors. The bath towel for our fifth person that they forgot about was actually a beach towel from a hotel in the Algarve. If you lost your towel in Vodice, it is still here. The bedsheets, while clean, were actually covers for comforters and were square-the beds were rectangular. If you’re over 5’5” your feet will be bare all night. The twin beds are in the room with the balcony and air conditioning. The double bed is in the middle of the apartment with a tiny window, no a/c. Make it make sense. The front hallway ceiling fixture was without a lightbulb. The twin bedroom wall light fixture had only one working lightbulb, and that one burnt out on our third night. The apartment was dusty. There was no paper towels. When we entered the apartment there was no toilet paper anywhere to be found. The holder was empty. The liquid handsoap in the washroom was actually topped up with water instead of with actual soap. The shower head was something to behold. Water shot out from everywhere except where it was supposed to. If the listing had said to bring your own stuff I would have prepared as if I was going camping and brought everything with us. We stayed in four different Booking.com properties and this one was by far the worst. Also, the listing doesn’t say so, but you are booking through an agency and you have to go to Srima first to get the keys. The workers at the agency are lovely. If the owner of the property is unaware of these issues, then he/she needs to hire better cleaners who can let them know what is wanting.
