About this cottage rental
The Lamateliane cottages welcome you in a tropical green setting composed of 4 bungalows for a holiday under the Guadeloupe sun combining calm, comfort and independence.
Choose your comfort between 2 super-equipped accommodations and two others more classic but just as pleasant.
Located on the heights of Sainte-Marie, near sugar cane fields and banana plantations, and 200 meters from the Longueteau Distillery, this wooden cottage rental inspired by Creole architecture extends over a 3000 m² tropical garden with trees and flowers: a real haven of peace conducive to rest and relaxation.
Our estate offers you a comfortable vacation rental without any vis-à-vis, and perfectly maintained.
With a surface area of 60m², two cottages can accommodate up to 5 people and 2 others up to 3 people.
The 5-person cottages can accommodate families with babies and young children since we provide them free of charge with a travel cot, a high chair, a potty as well as a baby bath, adapted crockery or even beach games...
The Caribbean cottage is a spacious bungalow for up to 3 people (children from 10 years old) decorated in the colors of the tropics.
Oriented towards the garden and naturally ventilated, it offers a pleasant view of the tropical vegetation of the estate.
This fully soundproofed vacation rental with double-glazing consists of:
- An air-conditioned bedroom with 1 double bed (160 cm)
- A ventilated living room (air conditioning optional), equipped with a smart TV. Totally independent opening onto the terrace. It can be used as a second bedroom with 1 sofa bed of sofa bed.
- A fully equipped kitchen communicating with the terrace by a serving hatch (4 gas hob, microwave/grill, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher.
- A large bathroom with walk-in shower and individual washing machine included.
- Separate toilets.
For relaxation, the 20m² covered terrace offers a dining area as well as an outdoor lounge without forgetting the unmissable hammock to enjoy the view of the garden and the swimming pool.
- All linen (sheets included) is provided except for beach towels, and renewed according to the length of stay.
- Free Wi-Fi connection in the accommodation.
- Picnic kit (crockery and cooler) in the cottage for your trips to the beach.
The domain of the Lamateliane cottages is also a large swimming pool area with deck, and carbet to take your meals by the water or relax in the deckchairs while enjoying the sun's rays.
The 50 m² swimming pool (equipped with salt) meets safety standards. It is surrounded by a barrier (locked) to ensure the safety of the little ones, and a 90 m² deck.
The carbet is equipped with a table and a lounge area.

The “gite” is ideal for vacations with children. Exactly as described. Large secure outdoor area. Pool very well kept; the children loved it. Well situated to shopping areas in both directions. Fabien and Marion are great hosts.

Gite conformes à l'annonce.
Très bon accueil de Marion et Fabien. L'endoit est au calme dans un jardin très bien entretenu avec une piscine sympathique et propre.
Logement très fonctionnel, climatisation dans les deux chambre et bonne literie. Grande terrasse agréable sans vis à vis. A deux pas de la distillerie.
Vous pouvez venir les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçu.
Merci encore pour ce séjour excellent mais trop court.

This lodging was perfect for our purpose; hiking in the rainforest. If there are light traffic it only takes about 25 minutes to drive to Pointe-a-Pitre. Great with the pool since the beaches here aren't so many as on other parts of Basse-Terre. Great place and one of the owner speaks good English.
